Philosophy

Do you have a certain philosophy that you strongly believe in or live your life by? Or is there some philosophy that's just really cool to you? Let's hear 'em.

I like Descartes. His rationale on what is "fact" is quite mind-blowing. The only thing you can be certain about is that you are a thinking thing. Other than that, you must use reason. Quite cool.

I dont know if this has a name but;

my philosophy in life is that the only thing that truly exists is your own mind. everything around you is as you chose to recive it. in a literal example an insult is only rude, crude, or vile if you allow it to be. in a more open minded view, a building is only there if it a large concience thinks it's there. so you yourself cant chose to see the wall but if everyone choses it's there

That is Descartes as well. His Meditations 1-5 are fantastic if you can get your hands on them (kind of rare).
