This isnt a quote, but i liked it when i read it:
A man got religion, and asked the priest what he must do to be worthy of his new estate. The priest said, "Imitate our Father in Heaven, learn to be like him." The man studied his Bible diligently and thoroughly and understandingly, and then with prayers for heavenly guidance istituted his imitations. He tricked his wife into falling downstairs, and she broke her neck and became a paralytic for life; he betrayed his brother into the hands of a sharper, who robbed him of his all and landed him in the almshouse; he inoculated one son with hookworms, and other with sleeping sickness, another with gonorrhea; he furnished one daughter with scarlet fever and ushered her into her teens deaf, dumb, and blind for life; and after helping a rascal seduce the remaining one, he closed his doors agianst her and she died in a brothel cursing him. Then he reported to the priest, who said that that was no way to imitate his Father in Heaven. The convert asked wherein he had failed, but the priest changed the subject and inquired what kind of weather he was having, up his way.

We're all pretty bizzare. Some of us are just better at hiding it, that's all.
If your not living on the edge...you're taking up too much space!
Surely you can't be serious. Oh yeah I am serious but don't call me Shirley.
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
The universe will expand, then it will collapse back on itself, then will expand again.
It will repeat this process forever. What you don't you know is that when the universe expands again, everything will be as it is now. Whatever mistakes you make this time around, you will live through on your next pass. Every mistake you make, you will live through again, & again, forever. So my advice to you is to get it right this time around. Because this time is all you have.

i dont believe in that quote i believe that our souls learn from there mistakes..and no we dont only have one chance in getting it right..every time we are put unto this physical enviorment its like a sort of training school for the soul to learn from its past lives and mistakes intill its personality alligns with its soul..quantom physics plays a big part in thoses theores..at least what science has figured out so far..science depends on facts but only now were (human species) taking a step away from the facts and looking at the reality and that is that we all live in a multi demensional universe.

"its better to burn out then fade out"
and this next one is a variation on the original and my fave...
"First they put away the dealers,
keep our kids safe and off the street.
Then they put away the prostitutes,
keep married men cloistered at home.
Then they shooed away the bums,
then they beat and bashed the queers,
turned away asylum-seekers,
fed us suspicions and fears.
We didn't raise our voice,
we didn't make a fuss.
It's funny there was no one left to notice
when they came for us."- NoFX
the original...
"In Germany, they came first for the Communists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist;
And then they came for the trade unionists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist;
And then they came for the Jews, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew;
And then . . . they came for me . . . And by that time there was no one left to speak up." - Martin Nielmoller

"True knowledge is knowing that you know nothing."
both great quotes. here's a bob marley quote
He had this idea. It was kind of a virologist idea. He believed that you could cure racism and hate... literally cure it, by injecting music and love into people's lives. When he was scheduled to perform at a peace rally, a gunman came to his house and shot him down. Two days later he walked out on that stage and sang. When they asked him why - He said, "The people, who were trying to make this world worse... are not taking a day off. How can I? Light up the darkness."

"The world is like a ride at an amusement park and when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down, around and round, it has thrills and chills, it's very brightly coloured and it's very loud. And it's fun - for a while.
Some people have been on the ride for a long time and they begin to question 'Is this real or is it just a ride?' And other people have remembered and they come back to us and say 'Hey, don't worry, don't be afraid. Ever. Because this is just a ride.' And we... kill those people.
'Shut him up! We have a lot invested in this ride! Shut him up! Look at my furrows of worry! Look at my big bank account! And my family! This has to be real.'
It's just a ride.
But we always kill those good guys who try to tell us that, you ever notice that? And let the demons run amok.
But it doesn't matter because... it's just a ride. And we can change it anytime we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings of money, a choice right now between fear and love.
The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your door, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see us all as one.
Here's what we can do to change the world right now to a better ride: take all that money we spend on weapons and defense each year and instead spend it feeding, clothing and educating the poor of the world which it would many times over not one human being excluded and we can explore space together. Both inner and outer. Forever in peace."
