I don't know where to ask questions on this site, so I will put it here.
What is the most effective way of getting red tip of the match off, leaving as much of the wood behind.
Also, is there anything that can be done with the red phosphorous in the strike surface? I know it can be converted into white phosphorus, which is simple, but is there anything else that it can be used for?
