I was reading some posts in politics, and I get really terrified of some of them
in... an anarchist cookbook forum!

Is real that all the americans (the nice and the other) feel that they´re ruling the world?
It sounds awfull. I will explain some history from Spain to make a comparison.

ETA is a terrorist group from Basque country acting in Spain. In the beginning all people fighting against fascism thought they were nice.

To be part of ETA in this beginning you must have a lot of political and philosophical "training".
After military training becomes strong.
Finally all the train was militar, no literacy was teach anymore.

ETA is now a group of fascists that claims the supremacy of the Basque race (in the Basque country, but, where is the diference?)

You, americans, have a very good base to start a better world, but maybe you´ve forgiven this base and acting only for your supremacy.

American do think they are the best. I won't argue America is awsome, but I'm not going to bash on it. I know a lot of people that are too proud to be American, like to the point of belittling other countries, but I mean America isn't that bad a country. We aren't perfect, like the government is fucked up, and voting is a joke... We have no say, but I don't care what country your living in your not going to have much say in your government, you're powerless about everywhere.

Yeah, but you don't have to belittle others. You aren't the greatest, you don't own the world, lots of American's speak of other countries as communist states where you're a slave.

I wouldn't say every right :D
I wouldn't be proud of a tragically high crime rate, a terrible health and education system, and being the laughing stock of the world :D

Also, the coolest car ever:
The Mustang.
Despite it being unable to go around corners, go for longer that 60miles on a tank of fuel, being a total rustbucket, and the steering wheel being on the wrong side, it is the coolest car ever.

America isn't the greatest. You think you own the world. American's all about money. Corporations own the world. They make laws so they can make more money. Wal-Mart fucking owns everything. Halliburton gets paid to help Afganistain rebuild their oilfields. The president of Afganistain used too work for halliburton, and we conviniently have Bush as a president.
It's fucked up. You can't do shit any more. You have no say. Go try changing anything in your city, you cant make laws. You cant vote. Its bullshit.

hella cool

Furthermore
The sentiment is (or was) common amongst our founding fathers. From the writings of Jefferson and the rest, it was abundantly clear that it was NEVER the intent to replace one form of tyranny for another. "But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security". Read those words and understand them. That's our founders telling us that government is not there to interfere. And when governement DOES interfere, it's our duty - our DUTY - to oppose it. Not help it, oppose it.

We've forgotten that. Somewhere along the way we all decided that we wanted 'diversity' and seatbelts. We wanted helmet laws and drunk driving laws and no fly lists. Somehow we all decided that LESS freedom was the cure to stopping 'teh terrorists' and 'teh drugs'. It was wrong, and we shouldn't have allowed it but we got lazy. We elected people we knew to be corrupt back into office because it was just easier to hit 'yes' for a familiar name on a ballot slip rather than really think about the issues. And somewhere along the line, we started to believe that anything was permissible so long as it was 'for the children', stopped 'teh atheists' or kept 'teh christians' in line.

I don't know where we're going to end up. I really hope that one day we'll all wake up and realize that about 30 years of laws need to be repealed ASAP. But I think it more likely that eventually all these laws will congeal around a core group of ruthless individuals, who will then use them to cement their LEGAL take over of the country. And then we'll finally be 'safe'. Nobody will say disturbing things anymore. Society will become 'polite'. People won't smoke, drink or believe in 'dangerous' ideologies any longer. The nanny state people will finally have what they always said they wanted.

Come and find me when that day comes. I have a few ideas about what to do next. And I promise - I won't say 'I told you so'.

Not even once.

FUCK AMERICA, I'm not any terrorist fucker or anything. But the people have no power, the government just tries to show everyone that the people have the power but thats a bunch of bullshit. Fuck Bush, he's a fucking retard who wants more and more money for fighting in Irag. Pull the troops out, its never gonna stop, every time an area is cleared next thing ya know troops have to go back because terrorist have taken it over again.

The government is good, a democray, but our democracy is a piece of shit, the government controls everything!

The government can go to hell, complete anarchy isn't the way, but a little anarchy can do a little help to this over-controlling shithole.

Proud To Be White

Someone finally said it.

How many are actually paying attention to this?

There are African Americans,

Mexican Americans,

Asian Americans,

Arab Americans,

Native Americans, etc.

...And then there are just -

Americans.

You pass me on the street

And sneer in my direction.

You Call me 'White boy,'

'Cracker,' 'Honkey,'

'Whitey,' 'Caveman,'

... And that's OK.

But when I call you Nigger,

Kike, Towel head,

Sand-nigger, Ca*** Jockey,

Beaner, Spick, Gook, or Chink

... You call me a racist.

You say that whites commit a lot

Of violence against you,

So why are the ghettos the most

Dangerous places to live?

You have the United Negro College Fund.

You have Martin Lu ther King Day.

You have Black History Month.

You have Cesar Chavez Day.

You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi.

You Have Yom Hashoah.

You have the NAACP.

And you have BET.

If we had WET

(White Entertainment Television)

... We'd be racists.

If we had a White Pride Day

..... You would call us racists.

If we had White History Month

... We'd be racists.

If we had any organization for only whites

To 'advance' OUR lives .

... We'd be racists.

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce,

A Black Chamber of Commerce,

And then we just have the plain

Chamber of Commerce.

Wonder who pays for that?

If we had a college fund that only gave

White students scholarships

... You know we'd be racists.

There are over 60 openly-proclaimed

Black-only Colleges in the US ,

Yet if t here were 'White-only Colleges'

... THAT would be a racist college.

In the Million Man March,

You believed that you were

Marching for your race and rights.

If we marched for our race and rights,

... You would call us racists.

You are proud to be black,

Brown, yellow and orange,

And you're not afraid to announce it.

But when we announce our white pride

... You call us racists.

You rob us,

Carjack us,

And shoot at us.

But, when a white police officer

Shoots a black gang member

Or beats up a black drug-dealer

Who is running from the LAW and

Posing a threat to ALL of society

... You call him a racist..

I am proud.

... But, you call me a racist.

Why is it that only

Whites

Can be racist?

I don't agree with every thing Jonathan89 said, but he does bring up some valid arguments. I am white and American; I have lived in the U.S. for about 16 years on and off. I have traveled around the world, and as far as I can tell America is the best place to live given all the problems with other countries. If our country is as bad as some of you claim it is why are people frantically trying to get here by any means necessary?

I don't think that there's a problem being proud of your country.

I's just annoying when you're trying to make a change in your country, for the best, and everyone's grilling you because "This is the best country in the world".

A Deo et Rege

I am probably not the first to say that nothing is perfect, and even the best country has its problems; furthermore, on average America has a lot less problems than the rest of the world. If America is not the best country in the world, I would be delighted in knowing the name of any country that you would say is better, and it would be beneficial to us all if you would include some proof to back up your claim.

Well I've lived in Germany for a few years.

The currency is stronger

They have free health care

Schools are good

A Deo et Rege

Well, here are some contributing factors that make a country "better": A prosperous economy, a.k.a. High GDP and GNP; Necessary freedoms, speech--the press/expression/guns; a good educational system, a.k.a. public schools and universities; a good Health-care system, and finally a strong military to protect the country.
