Halo 3 is going to be the same as the second one! The only difference is the covenant joins up with Earth to kill the Floods, and you can hold more then 2 weapons at a time, and obviously different levels and weapons. Thats the only difference! I like Halo, but it's just going to be to much like Halo 2. you'd be better off getting a Ps3 then getting an X-box just to wait for Halo 3 to come out.

1. Halo is amazing no matter what. all bungie has to do is add different levels and it become exciting all over again.
2. have you seen the trailer for it? according to the trailer (if you look close enough) they are going to have an ATV (which they took out of the first and second) the pistol is going to return, the brutes will be more prominent. you can sprint. there are "shield grenades". and to top it all off graphics i would prostitute my self for.

the reason it will be hugely popular (i can guarantee it) is because it is still halo.

im with palm3r, the reason its not going to be as good as we thought (but still damn good) is because its just so hard to make a game better than halo 2

and dont get too siked about the atv's, they were gonna be in halo 2 but they kept flipping and it was too much trouble to shoot the guns while driving (therefore they suck hard) and you left out a shit load of new stuff coolboarder... spartan laser, spike gun, and a bunch of other stuff i cant remember.... and technically they arent shield 'grenades'... just similar

halo was good at first but then people started talkin about it twenty four seven and it got old fast. i will admit it is a good fps, one of the best but it has no inovation to it. unless they bring in new technology to the game its gonna be the next has been.

yeah, it's just that it's always the same story, same person, same "kill the giant weapon in the sky" story to it. it is a good game, but when (if) they come out with a Halo 4, you'd be better off sticking with the 2nd one, cuz it's just going to be the same story, people killing aliens/floods...

It should have never been released. It's worse than a brand new untested RPG Beta... So many bugs and flaws... And plus it doesn't have rumble... And the sixaxis crap is gay.

The 360 or the WII is the way to go... 360 has the best variety of games to come... More than 100 by Jan. 08... While the PS3 only has a select few games that will be somewhat good. And the WII is just fun when you get hella people to play. (Legend of Zelda-Twilight Princess...FTW)(BEST GAME EVER MADE)

If you own a 360, go buy Crackdown... Sign on to xbox live and download the beta... So much better than Halo 2.

It's not about "How many games get mentioned" It's about "Gameplay" Ok here goes...1. Tekken - sucks balls after you play it 2 times through.
2. God Of War - Very good game i agree. But their running out of ideas. Did you play GOW2? Very short and disappointing, with not that much new stuff.
3. Resident Evil - Yet another game running out of ideas. "Lets kill some hillbilly beaners who are possessed buy some unknown force... Hooray... Good idea"
4. Grand Theft Auto - How many are there now? Shit i lost count after GTA3. And GTA4 you play as a russian... Who the fuck wants to play as a Russian?
5. Ninja Gaiden - Yes. PS3 had to take it from Xbox to have some good games.

And you say the Halo series is getting old? Meh... Each game improves bit by bit... Each new 1 being better than the last. Even most of the 3rd party Xbox games are fun.
The only games worth the money are PS racing games... such as Gran Turismo... Oh... Thats about it. lol
