i always try to get my shit from sourceforge.net, I love the idea of Open Source. If i have to though, i go to site that you get free software at. I hardly ever "buy" anything computer related. (lol, even the computers)

www.sourceforge.net . Its the best site ever for Open Source shit.

If you dont know that Open Source is here's a link to the definition:
http://opensource.org/docs/definition.php
that should clear things up for you.

lol, no. uhhhhh, Open Source has not a thing to do with proprietary shit. you might could find an Open Source keygen somewhere, but that is really not what Open Source is about. All Open stuff is free, they cant really charge you for it, and it under a strict license that wont let you charge for it. almost everything that is proprietary has an equal if not better Open Source brother.

Linux and UNIX are Open Source OS's unlike Windows and Apple's OS's. PGP has a way better alternative that is Open Source. Thats why I like Open stuff, it is usually way better than the non-free version.

actually, all open source means is that the sourcecode is up for public viewing, i suppose this means that having to pay is extre***y unlikely, as the person would just compile the source himself....i dont consider the idea of leasing a source from a company open source, so i suppose you'd be right......all potential programmers should be familiar with the GPL in my opinion...meh, ive got a headache, disregard the nonsensicalness of this post......and if you make sense of it, you should probably consider going to a psychologist....

no, i never said you were crazy, it should make sense to anyone, everyone should go to see a psychologist.....
