Hey, im trying to get massiggys SAD* program up and running in the newest ver. of Ubuntu linux and im having trouble getting wine (the windows emulation program) working. I tried to figure it out, but its just not running at all. exactly how is it supposed to be configured or even better, anyone can give me steps to get it running would be a savior cause I also want to play some games on it too instead of having to boot to shitty windows.

okay, here's what you do: open a terminal, type wine configure

then you try to run the program by cd'ing into the directory of the file in the terminal and typing wine file.exe
then you let it run, till it generates errors, you figure out what dll it's missing, and you search for how to install that dll on wine
then, for the games, just google "how run (insert name of game here) on ubuntu" and use whatever comes up to explain how to set it up....always works, and if you need more specific help, tell me what games...ill see if i can get sad* working and then get back to you on it....
