google your firmware version + homebrew, figure out how to get around the blocks on your firmware (pretty much any up till 2.81 has a way), then google what you want to do (most obvious thing would be to run a linux shell (basic shell, im pretty sure dsl would run best, but i dont know, my psp hates me) then do it....all thiings have been done basically

what i dont get is why the guy who ran linux on his psp didnt look into the firmware code to figure out how to break their really complex encryption.....

I don't mean it caught on fire or some shit like that, I mean that all the functions were entirely wiped out, It can't even turn on any more. not sure why there though, he had so much shit ont there virus wise when he scanned it with his computer.

yea i bricked one. But I had a warranty and my buddy at best buy let me trade it in. (even though it doesn't cover that).
