Can you destroy the lenses in camera by using a laser pointer?

Maybe the green lasers, but not the red ones, and I have heard different comments about the green ones too. Safest way to go for disable a camera is spray paint can. Spray paint it, then after a while hammer a screw driver through it when noone is paying attention.

My idea, cut the electricity both from lines and generator, then get up to it and smash it with a screw and hammer, if outside and ur a good shot use bb gun with lead pellets
