Paxil and Extacy

Alright, so i've done extacy a couple of times. First time was great, no problems. Second time, wasn't so great, it hit me hard and i felt like i was going to passout, and i had pretty bad mood swings.

I've just recently started taking paxil, because i've been having a ton of anxiety, and anxiety attacks. I've looked on erowid for information on it, they only had a review for ritalin and x? Anyways, does anyone know if there is an extra, potential danger of combining the 2? and with the bad anxiety?

I'm looking to do it again here pretty soon, and OBVIOUSLY it's already dangerous, i'm just kind of asking is there anything more involved with these things?

Also, is there a pretty big difference between upper and downer pills? The first time i did it, i had an upper, second time was a downer, could that have been the difference between my first and second time?

Not sure about paxil, not gonna give advice. I bet the reason you felt bad the second you did it was because you got some weird drug and not MDMA. Uppers are stimulants downers are deppresents.

i used to take paxil, for its intended use( once i tried it to get high lol made me really happy and hyper) its a anti depressant but idont kno the ingredients, or much else except what it did to me lol

paxil is the same as prozac basically. they are both SSRIs and wonthave any effect your trip with ecstacy at all. no worries.

Well i know the second pill i had WAS X, i rolled for like 3 hours...which really isn't anything. But i was told the first time that i had an upper, and the second time was a downer. I still don't know if this is true, are there such things as upper and downer X pills?

Amphetamines can release serotonin from the nerve terminal.

If you're getting a lot 5HT released into the cleft, then you're not reuptaking it, you're going to get an increase in serotonergic effects.

Although X has little effect on 5HT, it could have done something.

FUCK yeah there are upper and downer pills for XtC... I mean there is heroine, speed, mescalin, and acid based tabs...for heroine based you are real calm and you more inter acting with every thing... and speed based you are hyper and feel good... those are the kind that i thought sex even sounded good... heroine based make you think sex doesnt even sound appealing to you... and the other two mescalin and acid based i have no fucking clue

There are hardly ever heroin x pills, I doubt you have ever done x with heroin. If you got a downer x high you most likely got ketamine.

Anyway, an SSRI with x with decrease the effects of the x, you most likely wont get a good high... You would probably get high off whatever the x is cut with, but the x won't give you as strong high.

An SSRI combined with ecstasy leads to a mild case of DEATH. I'm quite suprised nobody mentioned this yet... It's called serotonin syndrome, and it's NOT fun.
