(my question is pertaining to what you mean by "block cellphone hacking," if you mean using your cellphone to connect to the internet w/o your knowledge, make calls, see all your pictures, upload pictures to your cell phone et cetera, just turn off bluetooth (why does noone notice how insecure bluetooth is?!) as for other things, you must be more specific....)

i would presume this is a simcard faking, phone your cellphone provider, inform them, and ask for a replacement simcard......hell, they may even look into who did it and press charges....

There, you may have an answer. randomly, in last months APG, or maybe Faceful, there was an article about attacking bluetooth to high-end paintball markers. Lots of controversy though.

they call it simcard-cloning, it's not difficult with many brands (particularly older ones)....

actually its easier to clone a cell phone if its on a non sim card network like sprint, or a bell affiliate in canada (mts in manitoba, sasktel in saskatchewan, etc). With the cdma network, the way its set up, any phone can go onto pretty much any account as long as you know the phones serial number, the ESN. The way sprint sets up each phone to each number is first the number is programmed into the phone then a second number called the MSID is programmed in.

If you really, really want to fuck around with someones account call in their account, you need to know who the account belongs to and either their account password or last four of their ssn# and once you give that the rep will ask you what you want to do, ask for an ESN swap (to switch phones on the account) and give them the serial number of the phone you bought cheap off the internet or had just laying around and program it with the victims ph # and msid. Then in less than 2 hours your phone works off of their account. This is of course a CDMA network and not a GSM network

Just a warning though, make sure your victim actually lives fairly close to you, like within a few miles because the fraud department will actually be able to trace "suspious" calls. What im saying is dont clone a phone from new york when you use it in L.A. because if the actual owner makes a call 5 minutes after you finished yours, its possible for say a fraud department to see that the calls were 5 mins apart, but came from oppisite ends of the country.
