So I was curious if I could get some store credit if I return 3 car seat covers that I stole. They are $20 each, adding to $60. Of course, no receipt, will this work? Thanks!

Yeah they will give you your money . However, its always smarter to have someone else return it, and just give them part of the money

I guess I could have someone else do it. But it doesn't look used, and the package isn't torn or anything. I'm just saying could I get a store credit card worth the value of $60 if I return all three? Is there something they check if that item was stolen in the computer or what. I stole it by bringing in a walmart bag, put the boxes in the bag, and just walked out with them.

You will get the lowest price they have been in the last 90 days so if they went on clearance or whatever you will get the clearance price. but they will give you the money, you shouldn't have a problem with the items being identified as stolen, but you can never be too careful when it comes to breaking the law. The best way to do it would be to have someone else return your stolen merchandise for a portion of the money you will get. Also, would be smart to have someone else steal the shit also, when i was a kid we used to have these local crackheads steal the shit and then return it for a giftcard, and we would pay the crackheads like 30 dolars cash for a one hundred dollar gift card, because walmart dont sell crack. thats how i got the system for my bonneville back in the day.

No, they probably won't return them. If they suspect anything, they can easily check their system and see if three of those car seats were purchased together withing the past 6 months.

Returned them the other day just fine. No questions asked, got a gift card. Free money.

Nice work.
I'd be too scared to steal from a company, I usually just nick random shit from market stalls while my mate distracts the guy, I pick two things up while theyre talking and I put one back and just walk off.

God...talk about courage. Or just being smart.

Out in AZ...don't bother.

Straight, not only do the Cops get the FUCK on your case, but the companies out here are ultra-conservative. It's one of the reddest states in the fucking union.

Arizona? Am I correct?
That's a reason why I'd never go to America, too patriotic and hardass.

Another good idea for anything that stole something in bulk and wants to "return it" is split them up and sell them back individually. If possible have 3 different friends do it on different days (or weeks if your extra cautious). Also if your having a friend do it dont be a cheap ass and try to get more money. 50 50 is perfectly fine since you making a profit from these unintentional "donations" made by the company.
