Telnet to watch secret ASCII Star Wars Movie

Alrighty.

I would like to mention beforehand if you have windows vista or greater this will not work.

To start, you need to have a computer (ha ha.) If you are on a PC, go to

start > run > cmd

On a mac

Finder > Terminal.

From here, both the OS's use the same lines of code to get to the server.

type:

Telnet (hit enter)
O (hit enter)
towel.blinkenlights.nl (hit enter)

Let it load and watch Star Wars in its full ASCIIMation Beauty. Sorry but there is no sound.

by the way, it will work on vista, you just have to enable it.

1. Click Start then select Control Panel.

2. Select Programs and Features.

3. Select Turn Windows features on or off.

4. Select the Telnet Client option.

5. Click OK.

6. A dialog box will appear to confirm installation. The telnet command should now be available.
