I don't know how it is in the states, but in Canada, the Wal-Mart at SquareOne has a brand new (last year) three million dollar camera and security system along with enough Loss Prevention employees to run a second Wal-Mart.

I realize I have a short temper sometimes and I almost responded to that post harshly, but then I realized that I'd just be letting me anger get ahold of me again.

But I did admit I was the dick, and if I didn't "formally" apologize, I do now.

WeirdD, have you ever ridden a horse....

Well, try to picture this if you will....

I was riding with my wife Saturday, nothing serious, just a nice little trail ride. We were with my family and the neighbors, just out for a nice trail ride. (Note: You probably need to know that I do not really ride horses, I mean, I do, but I suck and before to ride a motorcycle any day over a horse... fuck, I don't know why I even ride, and after this story you will know why I don't anymore...) Anyway, back to the story, well, I am not a decent rider. In fact, I would rate my riding skills at low. So, there we were, in the back of the pack and there just happens to be a big field with nice cut grass around it... So I lean over to my wife and say, "Hey, lets canter (which is just barely faster than a trot and smooth for our horses, also known as a lope) to the end of this field and then canter back." She replies with, "Okay, lets go around" (I don't know how the words got mixed up but they did) I said okay and we took off. Now the first thing you need to know about my horse is that she is really freaking competitive, which means that when my wife took off (she was in front) that my horse fucking let loose. And not this, barely faster than the other horse, more like I had thrown a frag grenade behind us and kicked her at the same time.... So I get to the end of the stretch. No big deal, I can do straight and fast. (Now a little info on my wife. My wife is a barrel racer. She is good enough to have gone to state after like only two years of practice at the age of 17 training the horse herself, plus she is competitive, like my horse. Needless to say she is an expert rider) So once I am stopped, I turn around to look at my wife. She comes up and just keeps on going around. And now we are into trees along the "top" of the field. Well, my horse, just having another horse whip past her takes off... Okay, this is fine, we aren't at a dead run. Well, I barely steer clear of a dear stand ladder (close is like freaking inches away) and then we get to a small straight part with my wife in front of me. She slows up as we reach the last corner before a nice long straightaway. So I think to myself, "man, I am glad she is slowing down. I about lost it back there." and thats when she rounds the corner and whips her horse to high gear.

Mine naturally follows...

Well fuck, at least it is straight, I can handle that... Then her horse turns into the woods followed by mine... And this is more or a stop and turn, not a turn at same speed. (We are turning into a tree line)

Well, at this point (where the horse is stopping) I slide against the saddle horn, and those two nice little hard lumps for the tree (a part of the saddle) So, all I feel is sudden pain. I lurch the reigns away from the tree line and my horse complies, picking up speed to finish (Note: my horse thinks she can stop in 5 feet from a dead sprint. Did I mention we are sprinting towards another tree line) So I yank the reigns back and she stops... in 5 feet. So again, I get the pleasure of sliding crotch first into my saddle.

Oh, to make matters worse, I have a history of bad groin tendons and muscles from other horse related accidents. So both my groin tendons pop out/ tear apart. If you don't know what that feels like, well, I will put it this way. I would be willing to stand with my legs spread and let anyone in the world kick my balls... twice... before feeling that pain again. And then I had to ride home feeling that all the way back.

That was my wonderful Saturday.
