hey, im actually trying to steal a security tag but not a product (i kno that sounds odd, lol) and i was wondering what would be the best way of going about this.
the only thing i can think of is walking around the dept store and waiting until i see one of those cash register islands unguarded, reach over, nab the tag, and wrap it in tinfoil to not set off the alarm.

that is what i would be using it for. the reason i dont want it to go off when i first take it is so i can take it home and engrave my name on it so if i get caught i couldnt even be accused of stealing the tag.
