I think that punks not dead is a slogan. Punk is dead to anyone who questions its life. Because if something is alive and well its obvious to anyone who looks at it. This embodies everything i want to say about the death of punk

and to make my views a little confusing i'm going to say that punk cannot be killed, because punks will not die.

I think this whole forum is so funny. You guys are bitching about how much you hate posers and yet criminalanarchist you listen to the exact same bands they do. I mean sure you' listed some good bands here and there, but for the most part what you listen to is (in my personal opinion) the exact opposite of punk- mainstream produced garbage, made especially to sell to those hot topic punks you just spent so much time bitching about.
And as for the casualties! They are all ABOUT their image! I mean if you're going to complain about some kids "ruining punk", the FIRST band you should look at is the casualties. They get their hair professionally done, for fucks sake, not to mention NO talent.
And look I really don't care what music you listen to. But if you're going to claim to love the punk lifestyle, the music has got to be part of it. Whats funny though, Everytime I go to a show with a popular headlining band. I see a new crowd of drifters that I have never seen before. All with their cute mohawks and patches and studs.

But anyways, I listen to all different types of punk. Old 80's punk, Anarcho, Oi, Hardcore and crust. But some of my favorite bands are Reagan Youth ( fuck yeah ). GISM, Choking Victim etc. But I listen to rap too, like wu-tang clan, typical cats, brotha lynch, devin the dude.
