All this religion live after death crap is just that, crap. Its humanitys way of comforting the idea of death with false lies, and outrighteous stories. Fuck living with a lie. Even a lie you believe is one form of truth. A truth to oneself. If you tell yourself that god is real, and you believe it truly. Then isnt that truth? That he is real? Or a lie, disguised in truth's intention?

The collective unconscious of all humanity wants to be believe in god, for the most part. Gotta have faith though, faith is the opposite of logic. So therefore to believe in god means closing your eyes and plugging your ears and saying nananananananananananananana.
I don't exactly know what your question was, I want a cookie though.
EDIT: You're high again arent you?

Im not stoned now. When im sober i usually just read some threads off and on. But when i smoke bud i usually reply to at least one or make a new thread for jokes. So to answer your question Xon, for about 1 year of my membership on here i wasnt stoned. The other year speaks for itself.

I believe that its like an illusion. A belief doesn't constitute a truth, however a fact does. Since no one can prove nor disprove the existence of god, it's neither a lie, nor a truth, rather it's simply a belief and nothing more. However, facts about the belief are true, and of course there can be lies surrounding a belief as well.
Truths and lies drive our beliefs, another way to say this is that really believing in a god is merely a strong conviction.
edit-you (intentionally?) made the poll to question someones belief, because if they were religious they would probably pick the first one since they were to believe in god prior to reading this, and someone who isn't religious obviously didn't believe in god and probably would select the second choice.

If you tell yourself something. And you believe it, then you've convinced yourself of a truth that is untrue. I could teach a child that 2+2=5 but the correct answer would still be 4, no matter what that child believed. However, if i taught the entire world that 2+2=5 and one child that 2+2=4 Then even though that one child knows the truth, he would never be accepted into the society, that believes in a lie.
Does that make sense to everyone?

In a twisted way it does. You basically said what i said but in a different way.
