Hey, so i am curiose if any one you have disabled security cams from a decent distance away? i was wondering if a high powered laser would work.

A gun would work perfectly. Just shoot the fucker. Problem solved.
Or maybe rocks...throw rocks at it...

Not sure if this would work, but maybe paint inside a super soaker? You could spray the lens from about 10-15 feet...the paint should be thick enough to coat it without sliding off...I think. Not sure if paint would be too thick to spray though a water gun though..*shrug*

if that works, thats ingenious. cheaper than a paintball gun. though, i think a paintball gun would work better distance-wise, as long as its producing desirable results.
but then what would you do with the gun? kind of big and lunky to carry around during a small scale heist or whatever the fuck you're doing.

True, it's a little burdensome to be lugging around...
Paintball gun would definitely be better for long range, heck, it might even break the lens too!

Bertram, thats a good idea but most cameras are cabled....Id tend to say follow the cables whilst shopping, find the end and snip the fuckers (wear plastic gloves, experienced warning)

Anywhere that actually has something worth money will have monitored cameras with some pretty nice anti-tampering tools.
Everything mentioned so far will be detected immediately on the portable system I am putting together for the sites I work.
