I know that this forum is for epic pwns but I feel that these folks pwn themselves.

Observe.....

Son went on myspace.. winpcantivirus showed up..now, cant get into anything,start button gone,any ideas?
tried ctrl and esc with no avail.. winpcantivirus is now icon on the puter

I mean seriously? I pretty much laughed for a good 10 minutes at a few of these questions. Am I the only one annoyed by people like this or what?

And here I thought we were living in the modern age. Unfortunately it seems people still can't figure out how to really use their computer boxes. Oh well it's all just a fad anyway.

No "pwn" but geez, the stupidity...
It's ironic how people download antiviruses that are obviously trojan viruses themselves. Then they are like "My antivirus says there is nothing wrong though."

I seriously had someone call a relative of mine trying to ask for help- I'm sitting here listening, and she basically sat there and said that her antivirus was saying that her .NET framework, hkey_local, hall.DLL, a bunch of .sys files, etc. you name any system file and it said the files weren't working. I finally told them that most of that was core system files which her PC couldn't run Windows without and the antivirus was a fake... but come on! That's some of the most basic computer use.

I wanted to just up and slap them both... moral of the story- there isn't one. but if you try to talk tech you better know what you're talking about or you'll look like a total retard.
