Can one mask their IP address with someone elses?

I know this is probably an already answered question, but is it possible (I think it's very likely) to mask one's own IP address as someone elses? For simple purposes of revenge and what not.

Get on their computer and use it. Or if you are really fucking good. Hack their computer, put a proxy on it and just run through their proxy.

I was wondering for the reason of I have 12 credit card numbers at the moment, (and probably soon to get more) and I was contimplating on using one of them to add funds to an online account, but I need to mask my IP to avoid being tracked, and If I go to this towns public library and comendeer one of their computers and add funds from there I don't know if my account that I added funds to can be tracked on another computer. Also, I was wondering this so I can frame this scumbag in another town and send him to prison for good.

okay, number one DO NOT SEND ANYTHING TO YOUR HOUSE, #2 DO NOT USE YOUR HOME PC, and 3 Thats a bit fucked up to frame someone like that and he wont go to prison but for about 12 years.

okay so how are you getting the CC#'s? and the best thing would to get a Cheap laptop and use public wifi which is how i "would" do it and then send it to a empty house or someone on vacation. but if you use it at your house they will find you regardless of doing your IP like that, i mean come on man its the Feds and FDIC they are just as smart if not smarter and already know all of the tricks. your best bet would be to Order a MSR206 and write your own cards and use them yourself. But just don't use your house period or eventually you will get caught. and to ovoid getting caught keep your purchase on each card under 2g's if its under 2000$ of theft like that they wont look into it its against there policy.

*Chuckle* Well, I would go to the bastard's house if it weren't for the fact that at current I'm at least 18 hours away from him.
