Would just like to share a story how we were stealing over $200 worth of CD's a day. It was soo simple aswell.
1. We went into Virgin Megastores which had these machines where you could scan barcodes on back of CDs and listen to sample tracks from the album.
2. Scan a CD and start listening to the music casually. Then start to peel the sercurity label off the CD as your casually listening to the CD and start doing it where you scan the barcode which is usually underneith the machine.
3. Slide the CD down your pants when you think it's the best time.
We had 5 of us doing it and 1 of us keeping look out.
We strook the same store 4 times in 1 week then it was getting closer to christmas and also I think what made it worse was my clothes were all dirty so I threw a pair of cargo shorts on and it was winter (My friends blamed me for it haha because of that!). Eventually we got caught but we bribed the people not to call the cops and they let us go. We got hundreds of CD's we used to ask people what brand new CD they wanted to get their families for christmas then sell them for a fraction of the price to the person who wanted it.
