breaking in something without traces?

Hi,
i have to break into an house for some shit.
I know there isn`t anyone in this house when im going to break in, so I have about 10-15 minutes when I do it quiet.
And I want to know if there is a possibility to come in and out of the house without (many) traces.
When there isn`t a possibility, wich is the fastest and the quietest way?
And I have to say that I can`t pick Locks and I don`t want to learn it.

wear a hat, wear sunglasses and bandana, wear gloves and if your shoes have noticeable shoe prints then either wear garbage bags on your shoes or there's these things you can get at wal-mart that are basically paper masks for your shoes (although they're mostly for not tracking mud and shit around the house, they also dont leave your shoe prints)

if your not a pussy, then u can kick the door down, go in, take what you want and get out, no need for gay disguises, if the cops catch you, their gonan make you take it off anyway, and nobody has cameras in the house usually, dotn worry about makin noise if ur only gonna be 10 minutes, cuz even if someone does call then ull be outta there before they even get close, oh and even if teh forensic team does go there, they arent gonna find you, just like 2 weeks ago, me and a couple friends got real drunk and decided to break into some model homes, we smashed a bunch of windows and i kicked a door in, cut my hand on a window, left blood all over the place, and it was in teh Law and Order section of teh newspaper, apparently the forensic team was there, but no cops at my door

the odds are if its just a simple vandalism or mischief charge they wont do too much work about it because who gives a shit people do it all the time, however if the family finds half their belongings GONE then what do you think the odds are they're going to want to find their stuff back?

Well windows are generally the weakest spot and therefor the easiest to break.

How late do you plan on going, you said you only have 10-15 so I'm guessing you know the time you're going to be in there?

probably to check if there could still be people on the streets. i think wearing a disguise won't do any harm, you can never be too sure. maybe some friends of your parents see you. it's far fetched, but who knows? smashing the window is probably a good idea, but only if you're going to be in for 2-3 minutes, since the neighbours would be alarmed by the sound. and you gotta be carefull you don't cut yourself, because that suck :D check out shaker's quite ways to break windows.

When I break a window to come in there, I run in grab all I can see/take and run away. But when I find an way to come in without much noise i`m going to spend more time in there.
I`ve read the ways from Shaker. But are they quieter than breaking the window oder the door with a crowbar?

definitely more quite than just plain breaking it. i guess it would be best to use the tape idea on a small window, sneak in, take all you want, find some keys and just walk out. just for the awesomeness. don't take longer then 10 minutes though. my friend got busted once while burglaring, and he was really quiet, but maybe someone sees you and calls the cops. don't take unnecessary risks.

windows are extre***y flimsy on most houses, if its possible (since it isnt on some houses, but is possible on most) id just get a nice stable knife or even puddy knife would work, slide it under the window and work it out, dont do any jerking movements, do it slow so you can control and catch the window pane if need be.

otherwise youre stuck getting in through the door, which can be a bitch if you dont know how to pick a lock (which i dont) and can be really loud.

And what do you think about the backdoor? I mean many houses have old or porous backdoors, so it seems to be easy to take a big screwdriver and break them off.

If you end up going to the penitentiary they will tie you to it because they got your DNA that came from your blood. If u ever go to the penitentiary then your DNA will be taken and they will hit you with that charge to since you're already there they're just going to think, "Shit why not keep that bastard here." haha reall how they think tho

Wear regular clothes (that wont draw suspicion), and do NOT wear a disguise. Fucking stupid. KNOCK FIRST. Make up an excuse if they answer. If the door seems flimsy enough, kick it in. Don't run. Walk in and walk out like you own the place (and that heavy ass TV in your hand).

one way to get in a window quiet is to take duct tape. and tape the whole window and just break it like that. its pretty quiet and the glass doesn't go everywhere. or you can take a spark plug and throw it at the window. for some reason the charge or something doesn't make it loud. almost silent.

Also. if its a back door. id use a drill with a big bit. and go through the tumbler.
Or. you could also take a razor blade and cut around the sealant of the window and you could take the glass pain out if its older.

1) learn how to scrub a lock or some more advanced techniques preferably, see the excellent MIT (yes, MIT) paper on the subject.
2) sometimes the simplest works best... odds are pretty good that one window in a house will be unlocked. next to 100% that one in a neighborhood will be, if you aren't picky.

As is stated in the MIT paper, and is pretty much common knowledge, picking a lock isn't like in the movies. it takes a good 4 or 5 minutes for me to "scrub" a simple Master or keyed doorhandle. far longer for a better quality lock. and success is not guaranteed.
