Steel Door

How would you go about defeating a Steel Door with a dead bolt? (Other than finding an easier way in) I know cops bust them in with battering rams, maybe I could make one? Steel tube filled with sand, weld on some end caps and a couple handles?

you've done this yourself? How did you make space between the door and jam to get the bar in there? How long did it take you? How long of a bar did you use? I have access to a 3-4 footer, should I make a cheater bar too?

What type of lock does it have.

Dead bolt. It's an Industrial/Retail type place I'm not gonna try and pick it.

actually i have done it a few times. I jammed the crowbar into the area around the dead bolt. It breaks the door mold but if you don't care its fine. IDK how long it took but i can just man handle it. If it is a steel door mold you might have a few problems. If your not a large man you will have problems with a battering ram. at that point it may be best to shoot the lock out with a shotgun

You can still pick it. Easier than trying to break it down. There are plenty of tutorials to do it. Look for a grade 2 lock picking tutorial

I suggested the gun cause it sounded like you need to be in and out as fast as possible. Ive only seen it done with a shotgun slug and a M1 Garland.

best wat to open a steel deadbolt door is definately a crowbar or wonderbar i broke into a store once that had a deadbolt using a wonderbar it took a good twenty minutes bent the wonderbar to shit and was anything but quiet but it worked and was well worth it

theres a shotgun round for the .12 guage desined for this it shoots out a fine powdery lead that destroys locks use one of those
