Pokesav?

I recently bought an Action Replay for Nintendo DS, but I haven't been able to successfully put in pokesav codes without freezing the game. So I would like to know; how do you put them in?

The only reason I'm asking this is that I'm frustrated from breeding for the perfect pokemon, as it is very time consuming. So I just want to save time and actually be able to battle competively.

Suggestions on how to use Pokesav or a better method of putting codes into the game would be helpful.

IDK, they might of cut out the cheats so they can save space on the cart*****
