External Hard Drive to server

Ok, I have a Fabrik SimpleTech [RE]Drive 500 gig portable hard drive. I'm wanting to convert it to a server.

I think I know what to do but just to make sure...

1. clear all of the memory
2. install a server OS(i.e. Windows Home Server)
3. ...?

I've gone brain dead. lol Help me out with what ya can? Thanks.

BTW, is Mass still kickin?

Run the install for windows server and pick that external hard drive to install to. Easy!
