Have either of you tried downloading and using Firefox portable? this is usually works as the block requests from the schools doesn't usually work.
follow the link bellow to download the latest Firefox portable.
once downloaded just install onto your flash drive/usb.

hope this helps:)

ok, have you tried going to start>accessories>command prompt? That's the simplest, if that doesn't work. Press the windows button and "R" this opens up the run dialogue, type "cmd" (Without quotes.) if that doesn't work, try searching for the location of cmd.exe, or command.com.exe (they are one in the same.) If this doesn't work, press Ctrl+Shift+Esc, this will open up the task manager, go to file, new task, cmd.exe. This is all I know...

you can also try making a batch file to run it, or a C/C++ program to run it

how do i make a batch file?
are you serious?? but i will tell you, all you do is open a text document(notepad) type in the code for whatever you want the batch file to do, then you save it as (name).bat
