i must admit ive been slow on the uptake regarding this band but what ive heard i loved.is it johnny marr(ex-smiths)who is a guitarist with them,and was their sound any different before he joined?i would appreciate some tips.

johnny marr was on their latest album "we were dead before the ship even sank", and i'm pretty sure he's touring with them too.

their sound isn't that much different without him, but his addition fits really well.

they've only had 3 major studio albums so far, and i think you can listen to pretty much their whole discography on their myspace or band site

Modest Mouse is one of the best bands out there that's still activly touring and making music. Found out about them pretty recently though the Johnny Marr connection and I've been obsessed ever sense. Parting of the Sensory is an awesome song.
