No, it's not a bad joke; in fact it's not even a joke because in order for it to be a joke it would have to be funny, and this is anything but funny. Furthermore, if you're going to post a "joke" at least get the spelling right; the correct question would be "waves or particles?', not partials which makes no sense at all. In any case, light has wave-particle duality, so the question you first proposed is invalid as light is both a wave and a particle.

Fear is just a psychological reaction to the unknown, and cannot cause you harm; furthermore, fear makes us less likely to take risk which could lead us to harm, so in fact fear would actually make you less vulnerable as it would keep you out of harms way. If you would think before you typed you might actually say something smart.
