How many guns, and why

Alright, so my father-in-law has somewhere around 30+ guns. He has a little bit of everything, from hunting rifles and shotguns to a small assortment of relic pistols. I want to know how many guns people out there have and if you have a good bunch, why so many?

ya, thats true. but i never said there was such a thing as too many. i just want to know why so many. i mean you can only shoot one at a time.

in my opinion, Germans make pretty badass if not the most badass stuff..

I have a friend who has enough guns to arm 2 sides of a war. Does anyone else do that thing where you wire a grenade to go off if the wrong combo is used on a safe?

my arms:

1. 2 winchester model 70's both identical black synthetic stocks, jeweled bolts, One in .300 Winchester magnum, the other in .338. both with simmons scopes. (why-big "game")

2. remington 700 .270 black synthetic stock, also simmons scope. (why-deer)

3. chinese (japanese reman) sks 10 round mag, bayonet, red/green dot tru-glo sight (why-fun)

4. chinese ak47 semi auto 2 30 round mags duct taped together w/ bayonet (never assembled illegally or course :)) (why-collection)

5. .22lr savage (why- target shooting, cheap ammo, very accurate)

Yeah theres a lot of different reasons, and they're each used for their own thing. LordSkweegie pretty much nailed what I was gonna say. Only thing hes missing is my break action 12 gauge from like 1915 that I use for grouse and small game.
