So there is this black girl that thinks i'm "cute" (according to a mutual friend) and I kinda think she's cute too, but i've never in my entire life dated a black girl. It's not that I'm racist or anything, cuz I have friends from like every race, I just haven't ever really been in a position to have to think about it.

The thing i'd be most worried about is us having trouble understanding each other. Since she has a really strong accent and sometimes we have trouble communicating. I also just have more of a thing for white girls usually, but lately all the girls i've dated weren't really my type. I think that this girl, despite us being from very different backgrounds, would be much more my type than the many white chicks i've gone through lately.

So do you guys think interracial relationships are a good thing?

I say go for it. I think that dating someone from another race can expand your borders when it comes to other people's culture. Also having interracial children can be great because it promotes keeping our gene pool diverse and strong. So just go for it man, as matters with someone of different racial background are sure to get interesting. But then again I might just be saying this because I'm a white guy who has a thing for East Indian girls...

Wow, I'm really quite the opposite with my tastes in women. I love black hair, tan or dark skin and dark eyes. I guess I just find women of my race simply *****g when it comes to physical attractiveness. There are traits that control things like what our eye color will be and how dark our skin will be. These are in turn called "alleles", and there are alleles for dark skin and light skin, which is really how much ***anin your skin produces. So a black woman and a white man will create a mixed child. If that same child grows up and has a child with another mixed person, than the offspring can be easily white, black or a mix. If you still don't understand, then you could take biology and study punett squares along with dominent traits and recessive traits. Of course this is only high school level biology, and college level is much more intense and complicated in this matter.
