This is not about debating the merit of a certain religion or anything, I would just like to know if anyone thinks they've ever seen something unexplainable. As in someone healed right before them, or an object was floating randomly in a room, or heard strange noises or voices in an area where they shouldn't have been (you get the idea).

I don't think I have, would like to see if anyone else has.

Well....one time me and my friends were riding around back in this hollow called "the witches grave" . Its WAYYYYY back in the mountains on this CURVY road. It was really fuckin cold and we decided to load up in my friends truck with our guns and see if we could get a deer or something. So about an hour in were riding down and theres this fuckin fog ahead. So were ridin through this fog bank right next to where the actual house this woman was killed in(The witch). so about a minute in we see a light behind us movin in fast. We put the guns un under the floor board cuz we thought it might of been the cops cuz we has shot a skunk about a mile back. So this lights movin super fast and so we speed up cuz it cant be a cop or hed have his sirens on. then we started hearin like a sqeal or something and the light was right up on us. Me and my friend joran were in the bed of the truck and i swear the light was like 5 feet from us. So i look back and its like a lamp light or some shit, its really dim you know? So All the sudden were outta the fog and the light stays back in it and we hear another scream. it was fuckin scary as hell...like it was really high pitched and loud. I dont know unless it was someone fuckin with us.....but we were going like 50...so idk.....kinda wierd...i bout pissed myself....

ummm i've had small personal miracles before... Nothing like parting the red sea, but enough that I was sure it wasn't coincidence.

I don't really believe in ghosts, demons, etc though

Never had any experience with that kinda thing

I've had plenty of small coincidences, too much so that it couldn't all be a coincidence. One thing I can think of is the time my family went on vacation to the Amazon. Basically, everyone got sick but me, which is weird because I was like 6 so would've been the most susceptible. One of my sisters, the next youngest, nearly died, and actually might've. Crappy brazilian hospitals didn't help. There was a point where my dad walked up to her, shouting "Sarah! Sarah!" and she wouldn't respond. She told us she literally saw a "light at the end of the tunnel", but she came back out of it somehow, after my dad started praying like never before. That was like a decade ago, and still is his probably greatest proof of God. You really had to be there.

Oh yeah, another time I woke up at night, not even late, like 8:30. But immediately, I felt like a presence of evil, like I've never experienced before. I didn't have a nightmare, and it wasn't sleep paralysis because I could move around right when I woke up. I started calling for anyone. My parents, sisters, even my dog was gone, which creeped me out. I tried to get into a corner, so I could see out at anything that would be there. After praying like a sinner on his deathbed, and saying, trying to shout Jesus name out loud, I got up the nerve to just turn on the radio, just so there would be more noise around. I started feeling like it was leaving, but that was the most terrified I've ever been.

Lately, I've been praying to see a miracle. Even better, be a part of one, like do it for someone else. Something for me to see God. But those two are the closest thing to it for me that I can think of right now.

ok ive been to alot of cemetaries and taken picturs at night and have had those orbs in them, ive been at my grandmas and heard something tearing up her basement like throwing shit around and just wrecking it and me and her went down there at the same time cause she heard it and there wasnt anything wrong.. Then everyonce in a while me at her house i hear this wierd noise like sumone is talking really really fast and a language i cant understand and she hears it when im there. it freaks me out and im 18 kinda hard to scare to.. This is messed up but i dnt kno wut it was and cant really remember it all that good any more cause i was high and about 15 but i went up to my room and was laying in my bed waiting for my sisters boyfriend to come up there so we could smoke some more and it felt like something was holding both my legs, arms and neck down to the bed and talking in a real deep kinda scary voice ( but i was high and coulda been tripping idk). Then there is this chick i have always dreamed about since i was little and she has like aged with me my whoel life but she will be in all kinds of dreams of just me and her, idk if she is like the person who one day i will meat and be truly in love with or just like my guardian angel, shits just wierd!

Your sister must have been saved. You however were damned, did you speak to your minister about this?

The feeling of god touching you even for an instant is like a feeling of eternal euphoria.

Keep your sister on the right path; less you wish for her to be damned as well.

Miracles happen when god wills them, you can only pray and hope god can understand, be a true christian.

Something like that happened to me, except without shit disappearing. I was sleeping at a friends house like 2 years ago and all of a sudden I got the distinct feeling that I was going to die, sometime that night. I completely freaked out, so much so that I turned on the lights and woke up my friend cause I didn't know what the fuck was going on.

The odd thing is, god didn't even occur to me. I thought entirely about surviving. After a few minutes of frantic milling around, I sat down to try and will the feeling away, having realized by that time that it was psychological. I sat for about three minutes, struggling with the feeling, and it finally past.

weird shit.

Well I have never been good at drawing, but i might try to draw her with my little experience of art that i have.
My grandma has gone to a catholic church almost every sunday or saturday of her whole life, she is very religious and rarely misses church. The house was built in the middle of nowhere, by my grandfather and my grandmas brothers. But she used to own a house in chicago that my mom and her brothers would always see ghost at.

That's called salvia my friend, might wanna ease up on that herbal tea.

And Deetinator, when I was reading that shit I couldn't help but feel like something was watching me, I have had that happen to me before a few times. I honestly think it was due to being raised in a protestant household with my parents going to a church that had "faith healing" services. You know, the shit where they put their hand on your head and give you whiplash while speaking directly to "God" and Jesus to "Get these demons out of him", because I was a fucked up kid when I was little, I was angry at a lot of shit, didn't like to socialize with people, and was down right belligerent toward any rules. I have to say, that looking back on everything I have experienced with religion and having psychosis to the point that I am thinking something is going to get me or is watching me, it still creeps me the fuck out even when I make myself relax and do the "Its all in your head" thing. All those horror movies and books I read did not help much either, but I have had a few encounters with somethings I don't think were of this physical world.

Such encounters like going to visit my grand parents house up in Indiana when I was about 11, they have a large three story house with a basement and a very large attic. One of those telltale "haunted house" types, always gave me the willies, and I couldn't go walk around that house without turning on every light. Well one night I was dead asleep, its incredibly hard to wake me up mind you, but I wake up in a cold sweat to the sound of boots walking on wood(old wood floors), I figured there was someone in the room with me and they seemed to be pacing from one end of the room to the other. I turn on the lamp next to me and the noise stops dead and there is no one there, at that point I just about shit my pants. Talk about being paranoid, but I backed out of that room and went down stairs and watched TV until morning. I don't sleep in that room much any more, or go there at night for that matter.

Another encounter of this sort was when I was awake, walking around my house when I used to live with my parents I would notice a shadow out of the corner of my eye moving around. I'd turn to look at it and it would shoot under furniture or go behind a picture on the wall. To describe the shadow would be to say it looked like a wavy light gray mass that was about four feet long and two feet wide. This happened a lot the last few years of me living there, I talked to my parents about it and they made me go to a shrink to get it sorted out, as well as doing the whole ritualistic prayer bull shit. My shrink couldn't explain it other than saying it was my "stressed mental state", I still think it was something of a demon of the sorts, though I don't believe in the whole Heaven/Hell bullshit, I do think that there is a spiritual realm of good and evil. Evil just seems more prominent in my encounters. I can't wait to see Brother Jeb's response to this, I hope I am cursed, I like things protecting my evil state of mind.

Shooot. Do you ever lay awake at night, and just can't sleep thinking about that stuff? I'd go crazy. You say your background is protestant. Are you still that way? And were there any significant events or struggles in your life around the times it happened, or was it out of the blue?

I used to be terribly afraid of the dark when I was younger, and most of it was due to being over exposed to religious beliefs of my parents and going through the ritual of praying every night to "Get the demons out of this boy and protect him from evil". No I am not protestant nor do I believe in any religion now, I developed the common sense to know the difference between fantasy and reality. I have always been intrigued by religion and the psychological and sociological aspect of it all. It is strange how in 2009 there are people so ignorant of the truth, but I can understand religion brings them relief from the hardships of every day life. My religious stance is pretty much based around science, physics, and evolution. The way I see the Bible is pretty much a book of moral stand points of hundreds of generations, though most are outdated they are still good to live by.

I think its safe to say i've communicated with god after meditating for a while, never in my life have I seen any supernatural being though, or heard any sort of voice.

I think you were under the influence of something, or have some crazy good connections with the infinite. There have been times I thought I saw things while under the influence, but afterwards i always realized i was just really stoned lol

I have no problems with my parents, just their religion and how they went about it. I am nay an atheist my friend, I am open minded enough to accept the possibility of the existence of an "ultimate being" as well as grasp the fact of science and evolution.

Your guess would be wrong in saying I am sixteen years of age, for I am in fact 20 years of age. I enjoy your devotion to belittling others, just try to keep it to yourself until you actually get the chance to know someone first. Have some respect toward your fellow man, and more so toward yourself. Now, if you are a sociopath and get off of it, then whatever floats your boat bro, just know that I've heard it all and do not react to it.

I've seen many paranormal things, and prehaps it is a result in messing with the paranormal so often. I have seen the spirits of dead relatives a few times, and I have been unfortunate enough to be the victim of demonic possession once. I am a pagan, and I don't think a day goes by where I do not encounter the paranormal, intentionally or otherwise.

My own belief is that there is a place simply known to us as the Spirit Realm, where all the gods reside. Each god has their own portion of the Spirit Realm, and when their followers die, they go to their god's portion. This is why, as a pagan, I believe that all religions have truth to them. All the gods do exist, and their followers can follow whatever path they want.

Well me and my homie used to work for his grandma for money booze, and we bought weed. Anyway, we're both in his grandpas garage getting out the bong, we take our seats, and begin to smoke. Now i have/had 2 cigarettes in my ears, and after smoking i reach for one, its gone. I reach for the other, its gone also. I stand up look around and find nothing. Me and my homie start talking about this, next thing i know right between my feet is one of my cigarettes. We look again for the other and are unsucessful. We sit back down and lite the cigarette. As i go to pass the cigarette the other one appears on the floor right next to were my homie was sitting. This creeped us the fuck out. We were sitting in them white lawn chairs in an open garage with enough space to notice a cigarette or two on the ground. They both vanished, and re appeared.

haha . well once in my house i live in now i saw a Shadow like figure go in front of my door after doing a Ouija board thats kinda asking for it though, also there's been a few times when i have seen shadow like figures walking in this old Skatium building which is now a church and i saw one walking in the sanctuary on to accounts, it was pretty scary this stuff is real and its really not a joke, but i think most of it is mind over matter like if you believe in it then you have more of a chance of seeing it.

yup, as a matter a fact comming from someone (me) who used to be athiest.

3 years ago me and my brother were driving to a christian concert out far from where we live. Car broke down, it was the middle of summer, we were sweating real bad lol, walked to a pep boys, i made my little brother carry the car battery. Those are heavy btw. heh...

He carried it on his head. Later that night when we got outside from the concert, his shirt was absolutely torn to shreds as battery acid had eaten away at his shirt. It did not harm his hair nor his skin even though he was dripping acid off his face.

Or recently, the man who had falled 47 stories off a scaffold and lived.
Not to meantion he was sitting up when firefighters arrived on scene. lol
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/03/nyregion/03cnd-fall.html

I used to be an insomniac. Took perscription benydril for years because i had it so bad. When I got saved, i moved to texas to be with my birth mother who i was seperated from for 18 years. She was christian, she said God was going to heal me from my sleep depervation. I didnt believe her. I finally ran out of the pills and hadnt slept in 4 days.
Then she prayed over her and said again that God was going to heal me. That night i went to sleep. End of story. heh...

About 2 1/3 years ago me and my brother were wrestling on the trampoline when he punched me in the stomach and clean broke my rib in half. It was severly bruised and sagging in my stomach. I couldnt sit, cough, lay down, walk or run. Any bump in the road while driving made the pain unbearable. Then one day i was at my church doing some cleaning when the pastor told me that God would heal my broken rib if i went outside and picked up the trash in the parking lot. So i practically ran outside. In my mind i believed that God was really going to do it. By the time i finished, i realised the pain was 100% gone and that the rib had some how moved from where it was and went back to where it was supposed to be. I ran inside to tell him and He said something like "Wow, praise the Lord, and I was only joking!"

The bible says not to lay hands on somebody suddenly-
I put my hands on a woman once who was suffering from stomach ulsers and when i did, all the bones in my fingers twisted around like curly fries. yes i know that sounds crazy, and no it didnt hurt. My hands were all tingly and i was actually so terrified i was screaming. Seeing my own fingers all of a sudden just start twisting and turning on my hand and curling around like curly fries. My mom was there at the time, and she put my violin in my hands and i started playing, in a few seconds it went away. I'v seen this happen to my pastor once in the very same mannor. Not to lay hands on someone suddenly.

Iv seen when they were casting out demons, this kid start flying his arms around like a crazy maniac, foam was comming out of his mouth (and iv seen this plenty of times) and it took 4 grown men who were doing security to hold him down.

I had just come to texas 5 years ago before i met my pastor. Was having a bad day and my mom drove me up to the church to talk to him since i was driving her nuts. I sat in his car and didn't say a word. Just there he told me every thing i had ever done, in public and in secret. Things i never told my mom since i had only been there in texas for about 3 weeks, things i never told my adopted family things that only i would have known. Told me everything about where i'v been in life, where im at now, and where i am going.

Felt anything? The first thing i felt before I realized i wasnt an athiest anymore was that i felt this crazy surge or electricity like feeling going thru my body. But it wasnt painful at all. It was peaceful. And that it brought me to my knees and it was like my heart was open and every thing i ever held inside came out.

This one woman used to go to our church. She was young like in her late 30's. She had had a stroke i think a few years back and half of her face was paralysed and sagging. She was very strange to look at. Half pretty and half ugly. heh...
Then one day after church we all gathered around to pray for her and watched as her face slowly went back to normal.

My brother didn't believe. Because our parents are strict legalists. Things have changed over the years. He was forced to go to church and questioned whether it was real or not. He was out mowing the grass and he said out loud (by himself) God if your'e real, show me that you are real) Just then that same surge or jolt of electricity went thru him, and well he was an utter nutcase. He was laughing and crying all at the same time.

Not long after that, he began to utter words that he had not learned, and telling me stuff about me that i would not have told him. Saying the most profound things i'v ever heard in my life! But all these are just a tiny few of stories that i have experienced first hand.

At some point in my life, i was really deep into ghosts, and paranormal and occult. If theres ever a person with a story, iv got enough hauntings than i want to remember.
But when i became a christian, everything just seemed to have clarity. And it was self explanitory. I wasnt studying this stuff, it just sorta downloaded out of nowhere into me.

I dont claim to be perfect, but thats the idea. Love, dont judge, serve Jesus, Love Jesus, be humble, live the commandments.

It almost reminded me about some sort of conspiracy theory. If i come off to as harsh or angry, its because the bible itself is not that hard to figure out. Just like reading any other book, the story about little red riding hood for example, theres no secrets, you read it as it is. Although the bible is more complex, reading it from beginning to end, you will begin to unravel each eyebrow raising question. blah blah blah and all that.

-Faithful Leezpo

Did you just tell somone to be a true Christian after telling them they're damned? Read your bible a little bit and you'll realise that no one is "damned" until they die without knowing/loving god. You could be a murderer, A drug addict, a rapist, anything, and God still loves you, and you are still saved if you Love and Believe and accept him.
You're the kind of person that makes Christians look bad. You're just as damned as him, Everyones technically equally damned. Everyone sins. Everyone will go to hell if you don't accept believe and love in God and Jesus.

We keep straying from the actual objective trying to make you atheists happy by letting you fuel your own ego with your own opinions and beliefs. If you want to do just that, take my advice.

About miracles. In my family - my mother believes in all kind of stuff. As a kid i heard a lot of stories of my grandmother having something to do with magic. She doesnt talk about it at all though. And i find magic and mysticism kind of too funny for me to get into it. My great grandmother also seems to be familiar with some weird stuff. I was also told that i had a very bad allergy that was magicly cured. Or spoken out of me as they told me. Also grandmother seems to be able to tell for example who stole what from whom / even when she lives in another country.
I personally dont believe in stuff like that. And i dont talk to my family either anymore
