Yea death, I also have a Flash II. But mine is a plain blade (I hate serrated) with black handle. And I got a SOG Trident Tanto (TiNi coated plain edge blade, black handle).

I will try to get more recent pics of my better knives (some are not worth the time or money paid for them).

Yea I like the Trident a lot. It opens a little slower than the Flash. As I said, I have the tanto version, so I'm not sure on how good the normal blade shape is. As for the tanto, it is very good. The tip is much stronger that most other blade shapes (and some other tantos), and it easier to sharpen the 2 straight edges rather than a curved one. I would reccomend getting one with a TiNi coating, it is very resistant to wear.
