phosphorus was first made whena guy saved up all his urine, and let it sit for months, it make yellow phosphorus, red phosphorus is made buy puting the yellow gung in an oven with no oxygen in it at a very high tempurature. i suggest scraping it out of matchboxes

get tons of matches (wooden) and put them in a strainer, an soak it in water, al the phosphorus will disolve in the water, and you can evaporate the water (NOT ON THE STOVE) and scrape the red stuff off and there you go, not alot, but hey, if your desperate

Unless you're using a strike-anywhere match, the red phoshorus is only on the matchbook itself on the striking surface. Be careful.

Where can I get Red Phosphorus?

Bring lots of empty matchbooks (brownish colored), soak each one in Aceton for 3 seconds, then scrap them gently with a razor-blade.
(~50 matchbooks gives you 3-4 grams of Red Phosphorus)

things you will need
matchbook strickers (a box of 50 makes about 0.5 grams of phosporus)
2 bottles of heet or alchohol(if alchohol at least 70%...91% works best)
2 wide mouth canning jars
box of coffee filters

well if you can't get lab grade then use matchbook strickers...just put them in a jar (just the strickers)...and add enough "heet" to cover them...let it sit for a min or 2 ...then shake it around until all the phosphorous is off the stricker pad...now get another jar...rubber band a coffe filter over the jar...strain the first jar into the other...take the strickers out put them back in the first jar and clean them again(with heet)...now useing a different filter strain the strickers again in the second jar...now keep straining the stuff in the second jar until all the phosphorus is out...then let all the filters dry...break them up and you have red phosphorus

here one ..this is the right one...cut matchbooks paper,youll get your phospor( it contain 40%phospor,glass powder and glue). the wooden sticks(stupid dumb ass moron),and no HCL,you guys gonna kill some one if you dont know what the fuck your saying...bcoz the sticks are sulphur..as in fire powder.and HCl will only shatter the solid phosporic state of the phorphorus paper on matchbook,ok..cut the papers,dip in acetone 1 minute,scrape it with razor,dry it and then wash with water,stir well,dry with coffe filter.
