i could help you....

try setting up a site of your own on a free host, like t35, convince them to go to it, set up a log on the site of everyone's ip who visits, it will log their ip's

a ip grabbing script would be something along the lines of:

<?php
$ip=$_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];
$logfile="log.html";
$fp=fopen($logfile,"a");
fwrite($fp,$ip);
fwrite($fp,"
");
fclose($fp)
?>

that will log their ip, only....and all you have to do is add it to your index.html below the <html>, and <head> tags, and chmod log.html to 777

you might also have to make index.html executable....i had problems with that once or twice....

as for an actual thing to put on the forum to get their ip, that is a bit more difficult...try finding out what forum code thingy they are using (ie phpbb or phpnuke, or whatever) and looking up possible exploits in it and testing them....i found one site that i managed to get a fullblown cookie stealer up on it, and they had just been hacked 3 or four times...it was quite sad....so i kinda just left them alone...

that's your fault....

and i dont know if it will work in myspace...you could try, but i think myspace restricts the commands it needs....

make another account on the site, convince them that the person is a friend of theirs, then get them to click on it......have someone else post the link.....there are ways!!!

i think myspace doesnt allow php code...probably cuz if they did it would release a really major flaw: you could steal someone's cookies easily and just log in as them

IF... it allows php you can use cuddles script just a make it its own php file

nameoffile.php

then use

require_once("nameoffile.php");

theres no need to make someone click a link. PHP is very powerfull. its a server side lang.

S7UP1D /\/00B! He's the hacking mod so he can see your IP by all your posts when he logs in.

and yet for some reason he didnt have mine.....that's peculiar.....

any way, yeah, they have to enable php, and most websites dont exactly allow php.....especially forums.....there are ways around it, but you'd have to figure it out.....that's why you go for the link thingy......myspace doesnt allow php, most forums only allow html at most.....ive never seen one that allows php, cuz then there are much worse things you could do.....
