if you want to be able to generate a webpage easily, either use ms frontpage, or the yahoo page builder (on geocities.com)...i personally prefer to write my own code....but do as you wish....

Yuh huh! I can call yous lazy you didn't code it you used a web editor you said so on AIM!

i used a program for mass's code that he wanted to have fixed that highlights commands and tells you if you have errors in your code cuz i didnt want to fuck it up...i didnt have that program when i made my webpage, how could i use it?

and just to annoy you, here's a screenshot of the program, all it does is suggest the command you are trying to type, like microsoft word suggests the word you are trying to type, its sort of a spellchecker to me....i dont feel like finding out i misspelled a bunch of commands, so i have that to make sure i dont....and the only think i use it for is when im too damn lazy/tired to use a text editor alone.....i used notepad for my site, but i stole most of the script from another site of mine to make it easier to code...didnt feel like typing everything....even tho my site is quite simple......

alright...whell for some reason noone can access the image....so im working on that.....

edit: that's better....

ok, what was that program called?

Cuddles

it's quanta plus, and i dont know if there is a windows version....

it's a great program if you're just error checking your pages, or making minor changes, but i think it's a pain in the ass to use to make a page cuz it ends all your commands....i dont have the generator function installed, and i dont even know if it's really a generator or just an interactive debugger....i never actually saw any screenshots showing it as being a generator....

Wow.

Just learn html.

It'd probably be easier to learn html than to use some program.

it is....and that program does not do the work for you (or atleast how i set it up).....you still have to know the commands, you still have to know how to use them, and you still have to work on the source your self...the only things it does do is end the tags (annoys the shit outta me) and highlights commands (makes things look purdy, and easier to read...)

There are hundreds of html guides online.

Just learn some and experiment.

try http://www.w3schools.com/

it's aparently good, altho i dont use it much...i prefer to just learn by memorizing the commands.....it works better for me, cuz i have them built into logic in my mind, and associate them with what they do.....

A very nice WYSIWYG editor is nvu http://www.nvu.com I use it everyday, I think its still in beta, But... it sure beats the hell out of Front Page.
Why in the hell would any one use note page to write a website thats just a pure waste of time when there is many free front ends to html php...
1st page http://www.evrsoft.com another very good editor.

i write my own code because i cant rely on generators....i use debuggers and command lists cuz they make things easier to remember.....its the lazy way to do things, and still get the functionality of non generated webpages.......

whateva...do what you want...
