how to make a crossbow

i am not talking about the stupid weak shit with pencils and rulers
i cant seem to find any good plans on making a real one at home

well they arent the most complicated thing in the world.

all you really need is the base, the cross bar, a though string thing, and something to hold the bolt asnd string and a trigger.

could probably make the whole thing out of wood.

or just buy one for like 30 bucks, my freind has one and it putts pencils through dry wall (he lost all his bolts.)

lol i plan on making one that is stronger than that. i have made decent ones out of wood, but i want some plans to make a real one that they used to use in medieval times, with a steel front and everything
