1940 E. u. F. Horster Bayonet

Ok so i recently bought a bayonete for twenty bucks. It is a german made with the sheath and original leather. It was made by E. u. F. Horster and it has the numbers 4225 with a G under it,and 38 on the back BUT the sheith has a number also but it is 6653. What i am wondering is that i found these are very hard to find. Willthe different numbers change the value? After i get my camera fixed ill post pictures....

Not really. i just want to know IF one day im poor and all i have to my name is a cardboard box and this bayonete if i could get anything out of it. Truthfully i doubt i would sell it because its friggin awesome...i just want a guess as to how much its worth....to see if i got ripped off or not

german bayonets are higher quality, a cheap cheap WW2 bayonet is 20 bucks, your is probably worth ~100 bucks more if the serials matched

Some of the pix have really shitty clarity but my camera sux too.
i tried to get a pic of the leather with the lettering on it but it wouldnt show up....
the 3rd pic from the bottom the 2 small parts are 2 eagles.
the one above that is the blade with 4225 and below it is a cursive G.
above that is "E.u.F. Horster" .


Tell me what you think....of the dagger...not my shitty photography.

It has 2 buttons on the sides that say CSA and on the inside XL is stamped but thats all thats on it....
