I've made a few knives and a swords with a grinder but got any ideas how to make a decent weapon out of random things around the house? Eg. Cricket bat with nails attached. Eg. Glass Knife

yeah i dunno though, that would cause an explosion due to the electrical charge running through the copper wire and hitting the flammable component, it depends on whether the flammable component would explode from electricity, if you didnt want somebody to enter your premises at all costs, you could probably hook your electricity supply up to an (insulated, of course) copper wire and run the copper wire into a moat that you dug around your house, then, without a b***** somebody would have to wade through the water to get to the house, thus coming into contact with the electrical pool, ZZAPP, anyways that would only be useful in a post-apocalyptic scenario where contact with anybody would cause either death or serious injury, and laws do not apply in a post-apocalyptic scenario. do they? and for my mini contribution to the matter at hand, if you managed to knock the steel out of the either pool-gate or shower frame, you could have yourself a basic piece of metal in which you could fashion into a sword, i personally do not have any wood-working or metal-working tools in my house, (otherwise you would see a lot of ff8 cosplay) so i conform to the circumstances at hand, thus creating weapons with simple primitive methods of grinding the metal on concrete to create a semi-serrated weapon, at least until you could create (or find) something better.

You can make a handheld weapon out of nothing but newspaper. By rolling several pieces of newspaper together, then folding the cylinder in half to form a handle with the two ends and a blunt end. The more paper you use, the harder it is. Handheld cosh in a matter of minutes.

pretty flimsy though, it really depends on what scenario you are in, if you freaking out, and someone is infringing upon your legal rights, then you could probably use whatever you feel comfortable with, and type in benquaidandsmeagol onto youtube, look for the nut shot and youll see what Riot Raptor means by handheld weapon, but i believe a good quality kitchen knife would be good, other than that i say yeah try out the newspaper weapon, just dont leave testing to the last minute...

Homemade 1 shot open bolt "pistol" basically a piece of pipe, a barrel, a nail, a chunk of steel, and a spring. Crude, but it works.

allright well i made brace knuckles using some larger nuts that just barely fit over your fingers
make a ninja star using a saw blade make a pattern on a circular blade in the form of a star then cut it with metal cutters and sharpen the edges
take pvc piping close the end up with a pvc closer then make a 3 mm hole in that end then glue a 9v small two pronged battery to that side then cut its adapter out of anything by a cheap remote control for a car then take a rocket engine cap one side with a oval cap but in the igniter and slide it down the barrel then take the two prongs out the bottom 3mm hole and bam you have your self a quick cheap easy rocket launcher it blows stuff up but not very accurate at a long range

look...dont just hold the blade end and assume you're doing the best you can, you have to have a feeling for the knife, and know how exactly to hold it--and real throwing knives make that a LOT easier (it's almost always the blade end that you should hold with them)....also, good luck throwing that knife more than like 10 feet.....

A liquid fire extinguisher consists of a compartment half filled with liquid, with above the liquid preasurized air. When the trigger is pulled the pressure can partially escape by the escape of the liquid (under high preasure), while the air remains inside (this because the valve is at the bottom of the compartiment, where the liquid is underneath the air). The liquid will squirt out, depending on the air-pressure how far it will go.

Now....
- Take the liquid fire-extinguisher
- Empty it (make sure all air-preasure is out of it as well)
- Open it
- Fill it with gasoline
- Let it be filled with preasurized air (check how much Bar it can mantain)

Now you will be able to fire gasoline (up to 8m far) instead of extinuisiing liquid.
Now connect a bunsen-burner/solding-instrument to the hose, and uve got yourself a pro flame-thrower.

Plz be very carefull with the added gas-preasure
Plz also note that movies of flame-thrower soldiers getting shot and exploding in flames are fake, doesnt work that way
Plz also note that stop drop 'n roll has little effect on oil-burns (for you and your friends)

(any nuub can also take a good water-pistol, fill it with gasoline and fit a primary fire on front)

what mythbusters disproved was that the flame would catch, causing a faster rate of expansion, the tank still "exploded", in a manner of speaking, just, what you would call it is a ...bursting?...i guess that works.....it burst, like a balloon. increase the pressure and it would burst more violently.

ive never heard the term commando style, in terms of throwing knives either, but that's not to say it isnt real....hmmm...think of how you'd throw a shurikin, if you have...there are two primary methods that work best--overhand, which is more obvious, or underhand, which basically, is like throwing a frisbee, only faster, and with a better direction/spin....if done properly, this will work much better, imo, than overhand.....there are other ways of throwing knives that take a bit more practice to get right, and really are just for show, tho...

It's best to learn how to throw knifes no spin. It feels really awkward, and is rather difficult to do. I'm pretty sure you can only throw no spin with actual throwing knives as well.

In my opinion axes/tomahawks are much better for throwing because they have more momentum, more edges to stick into your target, and if your throwing at a person/animal it doesn't matter if you stick it in them, it'll break bones and momentum will carry the head into the target.

ok, take a bath tub, fill it with salt water, drop a radio playin slayer in it, and row the tub at someone, that"ll send em strait to hell... jk
but get a mini spray bottle, like the tube kind, ***t a hole on the opposite end of the nozzle, just big enough to fit a pen ube or small metal tube ( airsoft barrels work well) ppush your tube in so about 1/2" is in the spray bottle. hot glue it so it's airtight. get a sparker from a long candle lighter, and two thumbtacks. wrap wire from the sparker on each thumbtack on the metal, hot glue em on, and stick em throuh the bottle twords the back on the side, so when you spark it, a spark jumps between the two tacks, then hotglue them on to the bottlalong with the sparker so it don't fall off. now, take a shoe lace, cut off the plastic part, but leave some lace. stuff a sowing pin up from the bottom so it sticks out the plastic end, like a dart. experiment with diff tail lengths. now, open up the bottle by unscrewing the nozzle, and spray some flamables, hairspray, watever idc. not lot or it won't ignite. now, stuff the dart down the barrel pointy side up, and stuff it almost to the end. now cap the back, aim, and click the sparker, you got a dart that'll go in someones neck or eye, add a poisin, and it's silent yet lethal. if it doesn't ignite when you spark it, open up the back, and blow in it to get more o2 and repeat as nessecary. you know it worked when, 1: a dart shoots out , and 2: it makes a queffy sound. i call it the queff gun

fiveseven is great, little round, not too much collateral, but if i wana take you out, it can put a hole in your armor. same shape as a rifle round in a lil package, and i wan't my rifle to have a lot of power, my pistol has to be small and controlable, and the .45 has too much recoil, and the 9mm can't penetrate shit. i did like the kriss super v, it's a .45 smg, but it has a special way of almost eliminating muzzle climb.

9mm penetrates more than .45, and .45 does not have too much recoil unless you've never shot a gun before and just want to go on urban legends and shit you heard in middle school.

im no expert, but i could keep a conversation going. the grendel i saw was a .50 m4. if you read my post, i disprove of the desert eagle. as a primary weapon, i'd carry the mk.17 SCAR H, i love that 7.62 round, the 10 rounds less is worth it when it only takes one shot. and for a side arm, either the five seven, it has great penetration, or the mk.23, you gotta love that .45

also...wasnt the SCAR kinda put on the backburner cause it wasnt that much better than the M4?

again, i could be wrong, but doesnt the Five seveN use Armor piercing rounds as standard (in military applications)? doesnt sound to me like an AP round would be too low on collateral

frangible rounds are for not killing people in the room next to you, if i'm not mistaken. idk if they are actually used by anyone though, i've just heard about them


and yeah i think COD4 is to blame for all the "Desert Eagle rocks!" and apparently CS is responsible for the Five seveN being epic or somthing...never played it

But, if you just want some fun heres a "recipe" from The Anarchist Cookbook:

Tennis Ball Bombs by The Jolly Roger

Ingredients:

- Strike anywhere matches

- A tennis ball

- A nice sharp knife

- Duct tape

Break a ton of matchheads off. Then cut a SMALL hole in the tennis ball. Stuff all of the matchheads into the ball, until you can't fit any more in. Then tape over it with duct tape. Make sure it is real nice and tight! Then, when you see a geek walking down the street, give it a good throw. He will have a blast!!

Okay. I know this is for homemade weapons and such but I coud'nt resist making a comment on guns (the mass manufactured kind) since there was such lengthy discussuion on them here anyhow. I prefer older guns. WW1, WW2 style they are heavy and, well a bitch in general, but my favorite the 303 british is fucking beautiful! A good one shot one kill sort of gun! okay urge satisfied...

Favorite homemade weapon is easy to make. You take a awl and work the pointed metal end out of the handle(heat and cool well pulling at the same time until it comes free). Drill a hole halfway down the handle.(make the hole a little bit smaller than the thickest part of the awl metal) Force the metal piece back through the handle where you drilled the hole. (now the handle is sideways and the awl is fed through it). Take a piece of duct tape poke the awl through it and wrap it around once or twice. Now hold the handle in the palm of your hands with the awl between your fingers so that you can punch something and have it get stabbed.

Leaves smaller wounds that bleed less and penetrate deeper than a knife wound with less force.
