Not a crime. It may also be a violation of your personal right to privacy. Make sure your files arn"t for upload and you should be fine. Its very hard to prove you have been uploading, a recent court case has ruled that just having files in a upload folder isnt enough proof that a crime was comited.

Yes downloading is illegal but if they sue you they can only get the amount for an item. the big money is in uploaders cause they cause more damage buy giving out there product. They file a claim for 50,000 claiming that they cannot tell to what extent you have given the files to other people.
