Yea CoD 1 2 and 4 are great but you have to look at it as a whole. 3 and 5 are ok. To be the best you needed to make a inpact on how games where played.

Oh hell yeah, I agree. Half Life is my favorite out of everything!

In my opinion, the Halo series sucked, they were all the same and all they did was change the GUI for gameplay and the campaign itself... other than that they were all the same.

Legend of Zelda, all the way.

To be one of the greatest the games needed to impact on the gaming industry. Now GTA has probibly made the most changes, ever one who makes a crime drama game follows the GTA formula very closely. Half life changed the FPS genre from just games where you just mindlessly run around and shoot shit to where now a story is almost as important as the guns included.

Zelda changed things twice.

When the first Zelda came out for NES, people weren't dragged through each level like they were in Mario. They could roam from one place to another without having to finish the level before moving on.

And when Ocarina of Time came out on the 64, it was phenomenal. The graphics on OoT (at the time) were the best of their kind. All 3-D and whatnot. Pretty revolutionary in my opinion.

GTA, Zelda, And Half Life were all good ones (Zelda for N64 was cooler than Zelda on original Nintendo and Gameboys).
I love GTA 4's new GUI, controls, HUD, and the characters and story line are OK. Usually the GTA story lines kinda suck ass, but GTA IV had a pretty good one.

Zelda for N64 was like the old ones, but cooler, more 3D, etc...

HL series still has my vote. Best FPS series so far, and First Person Shooters are my favorite kind of game. Their weapons, blood spatter/blood detail is awesome, and I love killing mutant aliens with a crow-bar. XD
Not to mention, the Valve gaming company made some classics in my eyes.
also, portal was pretty trippy. :D

if were going by games i love for impact the original Farcry had that rambo esque feeling to it , and i love the freedom to go where you want in a fps.

FEAR was like playing through a horror with a 22 inch screen and surround sound w/ subwoofers it wasnt anything really new but the atmosphere was Awesome. jumped out of my seat atleast 10 times

ROFL, true to that. I grew up on the old Pokemon Gameboy games. (Like Red, Blue, and Yellow) They were incredible games, even to today's standards.

Resident evil was fun. I had a copy of "Director's Cut" for Ps1. lol
I wouldn't say it's the best, but it is really fun.
