A really awesome band that my boyfriend introduced to me last night. Basically, they make rock music using cellos and it's AMAZING. The CD I borrowed from my boyfriend is called Apocolyptica- Amplified: A Decade of Reinventing the Cello. They remake some Metallica songs, such as Enter Sandman, Nothing Else Matters, and One, and they also do a Slayer song. I like an assortment of music, so I'm not surprised that I like this, but I really think that anyone who enjoys instrumental (feat. on Disc 1) or hard rock (feat. on Disc 2) should check this out.

they're okay depending whos singing, i havent heard like the instrumantal stuff just things when they had cory from slipknot and the other guy from the other band that i dont know...

Yeah. I've mostly listened to the instrumental stuff, though I've heard one or two of their voices. I like the instrumental better, to be honest. I recommend the Metallica remakes and Hall of the Mountain King.

My cuz listens to them. He says they're just metallica with strings, (other than guitars) in a nutshell. Random Fact: The Piano is a string/percussion instrument
