Haven't read it. The more I read hst the more eveything seems fake. I'm prolly missing the point though.

Have you read the story of him driving through the desert where he picks up a judge?

Everything seems fake because he writes Gonzo Journalism. He takes bits and pieces from his life but generally exaggerates and adds extras. Gonzo journalism blurs the line between fiction and non-fiction.

And what book are you referring too?

It's not really a book, i dont think. I first read it on the interwebs. Then it was in a book i had by him which basicly was him rambling of stories one after the other. I don't remeber what book that was, I borrowed it to a friend months ago.

I'll find the story.

It's a short story or whatever idk.

edit:
Wait, anyway my point is that this story gets pretty unbelievable. I've always understood gonzo, but this is just too much.

what the hell's angels book being unbelievable? cause i found that to be pretty believable, it was his first major success as far as books go. i thought it was kinda cool, good criticism of the media as well as a kickass story.

i know this is super necro posting but whatever....

so ya my two cents almost 2 full months after anyone might give a shit
