is the eater the 'bad guy' and the strong one obviously the 'good guy' so
come forth meat..might mean in a really twisted way the bad guy's punishment..erm and sweetness obvious=reward for being 'good' lol
hey my brain hasn't fully fried yet...maybe i should make an esssay of it and then see..lol but i shan't.
so what's the answer exail..or do we gotta wait for more tries before the answer is revealed? :D

I'm thinking either air, light, cloud, or rain. But that's just because all of that has to do with a rainbow. And... since it has to fly, I'm going to narrow my answers down to either a cloud or rain.

ima have to say rain or light... 'container for a rainbow' that can only be two things really

"Tommorrow I will never see, though I have no wings I fly free. Of

Try to answer that one. Please dont cheat.

It's gotta be a cloud.. for the following reasons:
- Clouds last a short time, so they never see tmr
- Clouds don't have wings, yet they fly
- Clouds as Itsa said, reffering to dreaming. also the french expression "dans les nuages" meaning "in the clouds" refers to daydreaming
- Clouds "contain" rain, rain creates rainbows when sunlight shines through them.

is the answer Rain? or maybe beef jerky

rain is water, water has mass...beef jerky is meat without water, meat has mass....tho, i wouldnt mind some beef jerky....

it could be air, but air, as well has mass....it could be breath, or belief, or faith, the latter two of those move mountains, and the former could be an implied part of life, which can move mountains.....it has to be an intangible, assuming there actually is an answer....unless, of course, someone was being silly and decided that having no mass meant that it couldnt have the word 'mass' in it.....or that you couldnt pray for it.....

i was close. Ok...i shall now riddle thee. Ok so theres a man who lives in a building in NY. he lives on the top floor...there are 50 floors in the building.Leaving the building he ALWAYS rides the elevator down to the bottom and walks to work. Comming home from work on rainy days he gets out, opens his umbrella and walks to the building and rides the elevator all the way up. on days when there is no rain he will ride to the 30th floor and take the stairs all the way up unless someone else is in the elevator. Why does he do this? (this one is hard but easy....)

The answer is that he is a midget. The reason he only rides the elevator to the 30th floor on days with no rain is because he cannot reach the buttons for the top floors, and on days that it is raining he rides it all the way to the top because he uses his umbrella to push the buttons; furthermore, if there is another normal height person in the elevator then they can push the buttons for him. Not really that hard if you just use a little logic. :p

p.s. If I'm wrong, which I rarely am, then the answer must be an illogical one.

A policeman got a call about some ruckus, and was surprised to see that there was a man with a knife in his back laying on his side. He carefully surveyed the area, and there was no sign of a struggle.

It seemed like an impossible situation, the only thing he could see which might help him was that there was some water on the floor.

After studying the scene some more, he figured out what happened.

What the fuck happened to this man who has a knife in his back?

Is that all the information we are allowed to have? If there is some other information about the location where it took place that would help to limit the number of possible scenarios that could lead to the aforementioned outcome. A little more information about the scene of the crime would be helpful in solving the riddle.

I'll make a somewhat educated guess, and say that the man with the knife in his back took said knife and froze it in a block of ice; then he placed the block of ice on the floor and then fell on it committing suicide. This would explain why there was no sign of struggle, and why there is a puddle of water on the floor. That's the most logical explanation I could come up with given the information you provided; all the other scenarios left to many things to chance.

Try this:

Adam, God made out of dust, but thought it best to make me first, so I was made before now, to answer God's most holy plan, a living being I became, and Adam gave to me my name, I from his presence then withdrew, and more of Adam I never knew. I did my Maker's law obey, nor never went from it astray, thousands of miles I go in fear, but seldom on earth appear, for purpose wise which God did see, he put a living soul in me, a soul from me God did claim, and took from me the soul had fled, I was the same as when first made, and without hands or feet or soul, I travel on from pale to pale, I labor hard by day and night, to fallen man I give great light, thousands of people, young and old, will by my death great light behold, no right or wrong can I conceive, the Scripture I cannot believe, although my name therein is found, they are to me an empty sound, no fear of death doth trouble me, real happiness I'll never see, to Heaven I shall never go, nor to Hell below.

The answer is whale. You fucked up saying it has 4 letters.

It appears four times in the bible is probably what you meant.

Genesis 1:21
Ezekial 32:2
Job 7:12
Matthew 12:40

Adam, God made out of dust, but thought it was best to make me first. So I was made before man to answer God's most holy plan. A living being I became and Adam gave me my name. From his presence I then withdrew and more of Adam I never knew. I did my Maker's law obey, not ever went from it astray, thousands of miles I go in fear, but seldom on the earth appear,...
Whales are in the ocean.

For purpose wise which God did see, he put a living soul in me,...
Jonah.

a soul from me God did claim, and took from me the soul had fled, I was the same as when first made,...
Jonah was freed from the whale.

and without hands or feet or soul, I travel on from pale to pale,...
Whales are long-distance travelers, and you must've typoed saying pale to pale.

I labor hard by day and night, to fallen man I give great light, thousands of people, young and old, will by my death great light behold,...
Whale oil burns well in many lamps. But the whale must be slain to get the oil.

no right or wrong can I conceive, the Scripture I cannot believe, although my name therein is found, they are to me an empty sound, no fear of death doth trouble me, real happiness I'll never see, to Heaven I shall never go, nor to Hell below.

What version of the Bible was used? Most likely was not LDS.

Whales are in the ocean.

Jonah.

Jonah was freed from the whale.

Whales are long-distance travelers, and you must've typoed saying (2)pale to pale.

Whale oil burns well in many lamps. But the whale must be slain to get the oil.

What version of the Bible was used? Most likely was not LDS.

(1)You are correct the answer is indeed a "whale"; however, I did not mess up when I said that the answer was a "four letter word" because in Jonah 1:17 it specifically states that Jonah was swallowed up by a "great fish". I did this with that in mind, I did not say "five letter word" because that would have made things too easy. Instead I only gave a small hint to what the real answer was. What's the point in posting a riddle if your going to post hint that freely give away the answer; a good hint makes you work to find it's meaning.

(2)This was no typo, just a small use of symbolism. The word "pale" was used in place of "pole" to try to throw people off because few people have probably ever hear the north or south pole referred to as a "pale". Mostly used by poets in order to add imagery to their writing, but very few people still use it today. The only reason it was used here was to add a little more difficulty to the riddle, and nothing more.
