This isn't normally done but if anyone knows how to fight WELL then post a thread on basic tactics, moves, etc. If you don't know shit then dont post anything but im sure there are a good bit of you who can fight well. I am in highschool and i have fought my friends as mock fights but i want some good tactics from serious fighters with exp.

well let me get my 2 cents worth in here befor this turns bad.
there is no such thing as a fair fight in a street fight. its the last man standing.
if your going to street fight its pretty much any thing goes. if you would like a tip for how to fight this is the best i can give you. Learn how to duck and learn how to side step. if done correctly you dont even need to be that strong to win a fight, because your using his motion to do most of the work.
Most people are right handed so there going to try to power punch you with there right hand. there for you step to your right. this will turn there power punch into a hook wich can easly be blocked or simply out steped. this is the perfect time to go in for your punch.
Remember a punchs power comes from the rotation of the arm and little to do with the musscle
Alot of people try to put there head down and rush you to try to get you on the ground. if this happens simply knee them in the face and hit them in the back of the head a few times (feel free to throw in an elbow)
***HOWEVER****
like i said any thing goes in a street fight, so if you were to try to fight me i will simply pull a knife. if you have a knife as well im simply going to shoot you.

hardly
if you are throwing a hook somewhat but it still requires muscle
if you throw a straight punch it is all muscle

heres a tip : speed and explosiveness are very important in a fight ,dont hesitate if you hesitate your K.O.,watch his movement using your peripheral vision, jabs are a good way to distract an opponent to set them up for a powerful combo, step forward while you jab this forces them to back up and throws them off balance then hit them with your dominant hand as hard as you can right on the chin ,hitting someone on the chin forces their jawbone backwards pinching off a nerve, it will instantly KO them if their jaw mucels are relaxed so while hes talking shit wait until u see his mouth open and Wham!,crack that mother fucker

little tip for those who face a boxing guy you know when they are placed in there defensives stance to protect there face completely just push his own fist in his face he will poke his eyes then you unleash your full speed and strength to take him out he'll never notice what happened to him.

I have no idea what techtiger was talking about, i wasn't even going to post.... oh wait, i just did.
My question, Why did you start this thread? Are you trying to prepare for something that may happen?
although, i am particularly fond of a take-down a friend taught me. You sort of squat lower, spring for their neck, and at the same time with your other hand grab one of their legs. Your momentum carries them backward, they lose their balance, the head of your opponent crashes into the asphalt. this however, is my personal favorite. use it how you will.

You never know whats ganna happen. I just want to be ready for what ever does. Any quick techniques are good. That take down sounds good too. The top of the head is probably better than the neck. I forget why but its like a point if u get pushed you fall. idk

a while back i had a neighbor that was a cop, he taught me and a friend how to separate someone's shoulder blades with one technique, basically it 1st involves getting your opponent on the ground, then you manuever parallel to them and wrap your legs around one arm and your hands on the opposite (you should be underneath the person, while parallel to them, like you're the topt part of a T) then you pull with your legs and arms, each in the opposite direction while straightning your back.............he said you should hear a cool popping noise

I would use both hands for fighting and I don't rotate my arm when I punch someone.
If I really had a problem with someone, I would kick them in the shins. I woud then kick them wherever while they're down.

if you get them on their back throw some dirt in their face they will instinctively turn their head and shut their eyes to keep it out of their eyes once they turn their head pound that bitch out .be careful tho hitting someone on the side of the head too hard can kill them if you hit them just right. if your going to do this aim for the orbital bone on the side of the face at the top of the cheek . another thing to do is karate chop them in the throat they cant fight back if they cant breath just be careful not to do it too hard...

hahahaa. that sums it up.
but what i will add, is be quick with your arms and legs. steal glances at their footing/stance and how they move. if your up against some random guy throw a low kick shin level and while hes tryin to register that, hit him high
and crazyass- youd be perpendicular.. not parallel for that separation move

I agree with everyone on this, there is one more thing you should remember. If and or when you get into this fight, try to get a good head shot and put your weight into it use your stomach in a kinda twisting motion along with your sholder then K-nect with his head. once you hit him dont fucken stop until he drop's. like they said, throw some bows that is about twice as hard as a punch and twice as fast, but that is for close range unless you step into it. Once you start swingin dont stop!

Move in and strike, move out. Don't give them the opportunity to strike you.
If you know how to use a bow or a staff (any 4 foot long pipe or pole will do), here's a few pointers:
Hold the staff in front of you perpendicularly with both hands. Depending which is your dominant hand, move that hand forward in a rapid motion, causing the staff to turn in that direction. The added leverage of the length of the staff makes for some quick but powerful blows. You can aim and repeat that, and hit from both sides. Don't aim for the hands, because they can catch it. It's best to aim for the kneecaps at least starting out.

I've got wicked bowstaff skills. No but i'm pretty decent with a bow. And a bow is definitely the most badass weapon of all.

Bows are cool but i think its a close race between the bow and someone TRULY skilled with a Katana mainly because they both require a high amount of skill to be wielded properly i mean any one can swing a big ass broad sword around but a katana is a masterful weapon.

"a close race?"
but ignoring knives and assuming noone has a katana,
know the weak spots on a body. the groin and neck obviously, kidney, jaw line, side of forehead, armpit, sternum/solar plexus especially at the bottom.
head/neck shots are great especially for shock value. punch someone in the stomach and they hurt, punch them in the face and they're knocked off balance
