Ok so my Brothers Friend show'd me this 720 mb cd that had like 200 songs on it. He said something about Turning them into data files and it would only work in certain cd players any ideas?

Nope, redonciclous.
You can compress them or turn them into pictures, but nothing will play them.
Or get a dvd....

Yea, you can burn the cd's as data disks instead of audio disks. You can fit more and there is no volume leveling. It also depends on what program you want to use to burn the disk. WMP burns audio disks with volume leveling by default, but it is easy to change that.
I have a cd with 101 songs, some were pretty long, and I could have fit more.

Yeah, you can make the data disk. I've done it before. The only thing is, it might not play in CD players. The ones I have won't, but they will play on my computer or on a DVD player.
