There are 1 or 2 threads about this but neither are descriptive nor quite the same.
Simple Rambo Arrow,
Made it, tested it, it works.
Materials:
Chapstick container.
Enough flash powder to fill container. (I just took some from m95's)
Shotshell primers.(Most outdoors stored have them, 40$ a box, pricey, but there's 10- of them!, they cna be used for all kidns of things.)
Aluminum target arrows from walmart, 7$ each.
Some "bb's" or other small shrapnel.
Tools:
Hot glue gun (some glue gun glue)
Drill or Razor blade
Bow.
Alright then.
Take your chaptstick tube, take off the cap, and pull out the bottom twisty thing. Make sure it's nice and clean. You should have a hollow tube now. Take the cap from the tube and cut or drill a hole to fit the shotshell primer. Make sure it will be snug. Insert the primer.
Place arrow about 1cm into tube and fill around it with hot glue. Make sure the arrow is center and the tube is straight. Fill remainder of tube with flash powder, or black powder, whatever your preference or whats available.
Place bb's around primer in cap. Mine fit 2 rows of 7. Pack into the remaining space of cap with your powder.
Place cap onto tube. You may need to remove a bit of powder so cap can slide over tube. Glue well or tape around seam.
Glue a bb or something onto primer cap.
Have fun and be careful.
The bb's are not necessary and the way i placed them did not work very well because some of them were behind the charge. Setting the bbs/shrapnel around the edges of tube would work better.
I am not responsible for any injuries and/or deaths cause by your own stupidity.
