Has anyone else read this book besides me and Itsa??

i love the way they talked back then with the "Daaarlings" and "powder rooms" haha


Holly: "Oh, dont be angry, you dear little mam. I wont do it again. And if you promise not to be angry- I might let you take those pictures we mentioned."
Mr. Yunioshi: "When?"
Holly: (laughing) "Sometime."

haha men are so easy.

"I've got the most terrifying man downstairs," she said, stepping off the fire escape into the room. "I mean he's sweet when he isnt drunk, but let him start lapping up the vino, and oh God quel beast! If there's one thing I loathe, it's men who bite."

"Do you mind if i call you Fred?"

"What's gruesome bout Thursday?"
"Nothing. Except that I can never remember when it's coming. You see, on Thursdays I have to catch the eight forty-five. They're so particular about visiting hours...... a girl cant go to Sing Sing with a green face."



"What do you think: is she or aint she?"
"Aint she what?"
"A phony."
"I woundn't have thought so."
"You're wrong. She is a phony. But on the other hand you're right. She isnt a phony because she's a real phony. She believes all this crap she believes. You cant talk her out of it."

Movie still kicks the books ass, cause without Audrey, Holly would of been nothing more then a book collecting dust on a bookshelf of a public library. :-P
