Haha ^.
Nah, I'm not really into those books. I find them rather *****g.
:But they do usually have some pretty interesting stuff sometimes.

i'm a fan of those types of books, good shit to know most of it........
and kard, he means like survival in general.... but mainly i'm sure he'd be talking about the S.A.S. survival handbook and things like that....
i prefer the "United States Air Force Search and Rescue Survival Training" book i have (reprint of a field manual i bought at barnes and noble)....
fucking S.A.S. killed a bit too many of my people over the years......good info in the book though.

I am also into books with survival guide techniques.. I dont know many books that are truly helpful in the wilderness. I suggest you read the book Hatchet by Gary Paulson. Its a good survival book.

i just found a book at the library called "Woodcraft and Camping" by Bernard S. Mason....
originally published in like 1939 but it surprised me at how much useful information was in it, such as making buckskin type leather and rawhide and assorted crafts and shit.....as well as a bunch of ways to make natural beds and shelters, and various fire types (some more detailed than modern survival books)
not really a "survival book" but it has a lot of good information of that type in it, as well as a bunch random shit and how to make it.......
that's like multiple month necro posting so whatever, better than making a new thread.
