At first, I'd like to say that THESE AREN'T REAL SHAPED CHARGES. Real shaped charges are very difficult to make, even for real pyrotechnicians. These devices act in a way similar to shaped charges, but are much simpler.
You'll need:
-A metal container, made from a metal with a high ***ting point, with two caps at both ends, to close it off.
-A bar of metal, with a ***ting point lower than the container.
-A primary explosive (just to set it off).
-A high explosive (I suggest AP).
-A fuse, a detonator, or anything else that makes it go off.
First, screw a cap onto one end of the container, then fill the container with the HE, until there's about 1 inch on the bottom of the container. Then put the metal bar in the middle, and surround it with the rest of the HE. Put the primer on top of that, and connect the primer to the detonator (I suggest using a remote detonator, because you can put it into the container, without a fuse sticking out). Screw the other cap on the other end of the container. You should now have something that looks very similar to a pipe bomb, and actually, this is a pipe bomb, only with metal in it. The difference between shaped charges and pipe bombs is that with a pipe bomb, there is a pressure build-up before an explosion, and with a shaped charge, all the heat from the HE is directed to the metal bar, which will eventually ***t itself through the container, and launch a spray of hot metal towards a target.
WARNING: WHEN USING A SHAPED CHARGE, YOU SHOULD KEEP YOUR DISTANCE. IF A SHAPED CHARGE ISN'T PROPERLY MADE, IT COULD AS WELL LAUNCH THE METAL IN ANY RANDOM DIRECTION.
