I would like to know where everyone stands with Biological Warfare...And just converse about it..

ok well could explain what about chemical warfare is that intrigues you....

biological warfare is extre***y inhumane
and on top of that it is really stupid from a tactical standpoint
you have almost no control over its spread

I am 100% against Bio warfare.

who said anything bout trying to control it....you just gotta know whut ur dealing wit...and besides tactical standpoint...HA and another HA...just say f it and take everyone out...theres nothing inhumane about it..except for the testing procedure...if there are no survivors then who is left to say it was inhumane to do it?

Think about it, if you release a virus somewhere in the world... lets say china (i got nothing against them, it's just an example). It is almost inevitable that the virus spreads over to the middle east and russia then into europe, now thats already 70% or more of the world population.
then all you need is one refugee to go into north/south america and everyone else is screwed.
the humanity of the subject is debatable, there could be some biological viruses could be quick and painless, while others could take weeks of incredible pain to kill the victim.

you want a virus thats very, very lethal to humans. that way it kills before it has much of a chance to spread and it will burn itself out in a smaller environment before it can get too far. the longer the incubation- the more fucked the world is

nice! have you ever considered a job as a bio engineer?? haha

i think something like this would be best done by genetically engineering a plant to produce some kind of airborne pathogen , like the way dandelions release there seeds and some people have an allergic reaction. you wouldn't need it to have a 100% lethality , the handful of people left alive would kill eachother , and that was proven by the CIA back in the 50's at that hospital in Qubec (forgot the name) and the seasons would be a perfect trigger , that way you plant the seeds in fall , get the fuck out before they grow and release there toxins in spring. and if you made them annual without a way to propagate themselves they would die out and you could go back (if you want) in a few years. unfortunately i have no idea how to genetically engineer a plant to do that.

Thats kinda like the movie "The Happening".
so wait.... are we trying to destroy humanity with biological weapons or just our "enemies"?
cuz a couple posts now have been describing the end of the world by bio chemical warfare.

something to dim the population and create suffering i guess....im not into the whole quick and painless...i mean why were we given the ability to feel pain if its just goin to be quick and painless?

In war it is better not to kill but to wound. If you kill 1 person you take 1 person out of the battle. If you wound 1 person you take him out, the people to take him to the hospital, the doctors to treat him, the staff to house and heal him, the money to care for him and you also instill more fear. People are more afraid of losing both there legs than death. The guy who is dead is given a tomb stone and he stays n the grave yard. a guy missing his arms is walking around reminding everbody.

damn thats true....thats why death isnt an option...well it shouldnt be...makin people suffer is the greatest pleasure of life....i know that sounds crazy but think about it...every american child is brought up to kill in subliminal messages right...through toys....as we age we start to take it further...i.e. burning ants with a magnifying glass then in every young boys life their father wants to show them to man hood by taking a life of an animal....but there is always that thought in the back of everyones head...that one thought to make one suffer....its psychological...as we are being shot we ask for mercy but when we are doing the shooting we are merciless.... would you be on a dying team or thriving team? sry i got lost in my own head lol...seriously does anyone know anything on molecular reproduction?

^^ thats some crazy shit. the crazy thing about it is, that it's true!
but if you make a virus thats slow and painful to kill someone, it will most defiantly spread world wide.
mad_scientist
October 4th, 2008, 12:16 AM
but see thats it..you want it to be global....make the global population be ur test subject...heh....why is it that the CIA and government be involved in illegal actions and not be punished when we kill one person, or burn down one building..(not saying i hav) and be prosecuted...i say the global spread virus is just a population dimmer and a way for justice to be served and to start over...and you say "but everyone will die"...not necessarily...there could be a vaccination or a way to survive the disease if the creator wants to make one....there are possibilities we just need to look deep and find them.

You want to thin the population and make them suffer?
Create a disease for wheat, rice, and other main crops.
Mass Starvation
mad_scientist
October 4th, 2008, 07:52 PM
that is possible but they can always revert to primal instincts and hunt...if a disease that is skin/eye irritant plus respiratory trouble that would make them suffer more cuz they wont know how to stop it...they will just think of the pain and their body will slowly decompose will they are still alive....

people are going to notice the people scratching and they will start to take perventative mesures. Food shorteges are the way to go. You start public panic. You start riots. You start anarchy. Modern man hasnt the slightest fucking clue how to hunt or gather food in the wild. Plus what little wild we do have left will not come close to being able to suport our population. With starvation and poor nutrition average sicknesses become deadly.
mad_scientist
October 4th, 2008, 08:28 PM
thats a really good point...but the way the virus could be made as just a global spreadin which it will create panic but there would be no way of cure....kinda like trying to stop the inevitable. you wouldnt be able to hide from it...with starvation i takes a week or two to die ...wheres the fun....??...how bout prolonging the suffering..?

should definatly send the smart people into space (no need for any stupidity it makes me angry) and do one of the nukes to kill everyone lolo try and find another planet or somethin...the smart people can reproduce to make some genetically enhanced people

its all around kinda dumb thing to have... i mean what goes around comes around and thats particularly true with that unless you can cure it you better not do it

I'd like to add the concept of psychedelic chemical warfare. A nice atropine/scopalamine misting would make for an interesting way to subdue resistance. You could probably do it small scale like in tear gas canisters.
Upsides:
*Non-lethal
*Disorienting (ever watch the videos of the British military on LSD?)
*Deeply Psychologically terrifying
*Could possibly be improvised (a number of organic sources are available globally)
Once you know your enemy is in the full "experience" then you begin your normal ground assault. Your opposing forces would be pretty well wacked out of their minds and may not resist at all (or could just go ape shit and shoot at everything) The survivors would be potentially be seriously mentally fucked from that experience, watching friends blow up and get shot...that's a bad trip if I ever heard one...especially with the belladonna alkaloids I mentioned above as they tend to be somewhat sinister in action anyway.
Downsides:
*Same problems as Chlorine gas with wind.
*Any attackers on your side would need to be in full biohazard gear.
*Unpredictability of the response from the enemy.
*Possibly irrelevant/completely ineffective depending on who the enemy was.

I'm don't really favor biological warfare. It seems, like already stated, way to unstable and that it would probably come back to bite you in the ass.

u see i like this planet alot and ill go either ways of bio logical warfare or chemical
you could creat a virus thats unstopable 100% kill rate and make it target humans only downside there would be no future genertions to make sure this planet doesnt get any more fucked up chemical however u can control who you kill but lots of colaterul dammage like nuclear winter and abunch of fuckin mutents or somethin so either way the worlds fucked and so are we so what are your guy's opinions bout how all this shits gona go down ( 10 dollars says its gona be nuclear winter)

Bio warfare is... Brutal. Its the kind of thing you can expect from terrorists, not supremesists. A single terrorist can spread a disease throughout the world by spilling a bottle in an airport, yet unless entire countries where given a vacination for it, they to would be affected. The main problem with Bio weapons is transporting them without becomeing infected yourself. The prime example of this would be ebola. It would be incredibly difficult to trasnsport unnoticably, unless the transport would be yourself, in which case you'd have to bleed or vomit on someone to transmit it. This could be much more feasible if done in say, a public bus, a subway, a rock concert... Etc.
In terms of using it as a weapon of control you could ship out a particullarly nasty bacteria throughout the world, manufacture the vaccine, and then sell it for exuberant prices to every nation, forcing the market to accept your product.
As for world domination or a weapon of invasion, see what history has to say. 22 million aztecs and countless mayans killed by a tiny exploration party of 555 men and a few local villages of natives.
Wow, long thought process on this one.
